A native of Topeka, Kansas, Dr. Scott received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry, where he graduated with the highest scholastic standing in his class and received a number of other awards for academic excellence. Dr. Scott earned his masters degree in dentistry while completing his orthodontic residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Scott also serves on the board of directors of several professional organizations and is very active incommunityand charitable events. He and his wife, Mary, have three children, Whitney, Chase and Blakeand2 grandchildren.

Dr. Don received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kansas. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree as well as his specialty certificate in orthodontics from the University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry, where he received numerous awards for his academic achievements and was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. After finishing his professional education, he returned to his hometown of Topeka to join Dr. Scott in practice. He has earned the distinction of being named a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, an honor bestowed to fewer than 25 percent of all practitioners.

Dr. Don serves on the board of directors of several professional and charitable organizations. He participates in many community and church-related activities and enjoys all sports, especially tennis and golf. Dr. Don and his wife, Kim, have three children, Jordan, ErinandScott.

Also a native of Topeka, Kansas, Dr. Gena received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri- Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry, where she graduated at the top of her class and received a number of awards and scholarships for her excellence in academics, research, and leadership. Following graduation, Dr. Gena went on to earn her Masters of Science in Oral Biology while completing the Graduate Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics residency at UMKC. She loves practicing orthodontics with Dr. Scott and Dr. Don in her hometown.

Dr. Gena is dedicated to serving her community and is involved with local charitable organizations, including the Easter Seals Capper Foundation. She is married to Topeka native, Jeremy and together they have 2 children. Dr. Genas family loves spending time outdoors and attending KSU football games. They are proud to be raising their family in Topeka.

In addition to his full-time orthodontic practice, Dr. Scott has published numerous research articles, served as editor of the International OrthodonticReview Journal, is on staff as a clinical instructor in the orthodontic department at the UMKC School of Dentistry and is a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists, the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. Dr. Scott is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists. He has earned the distinction of being named a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics; an honor accorded to fewer than 25 percent of all practitioners.

In addition to practicing orthodontics full-time, Dr. Gena has published a number of scientific research articles and is committed to continuing education in order to provide our patients with the most current and advanced treatment available. She is a clinical instructor at the UMKC Graduate Orthodontics Department.

She is married to Topeka native, Jeremy and together they have 2 children. Dr. Genas family loves spending time outdoors and attending KSU football games.
