A native of Topeka, Kansas, Dr. Scott received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry, where he graduated with the highest scholastic standing in his class and received a number of other awards for academic excellence. Dr. Scott earned his masters degree in dentistry while completing his orthodontic residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Scott also serves on the board of directors of several professional organizations and is very active incommunityand charitable events. He and his wife, Mary, have three children, Whitney, Chase and Blakeand2 grandchildren.

After finishing his professional education, he returned to his hometown of Topeka to join Dr. Scott in practice. He has earned the distinction of being named a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, an honor bestowed to fewer than 25 percent of all practitioners.
Dr. Don serves on the board of directors of several professional and charitable organizations. He participates in many community and church-related activities and enjoys all sports, especially tennis and golf. Dr. Don and his wife, Kim, have three children, Jordan, ErinandScott.

Following graduation, Dr. Gena went on to earn her Masters of Science in Oral Biology while completing the Graduate Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics residency at UMKC. She loves practicing orthodontics with Dr. Scott and Dr. Don in her hometown.
Dr. Gena is dedicated to serving her community and is involved with local charitable organizations, including the Easter Seals Capper Foundation. She is married to Topeka native, Jeremy and together they have 2 children. Dr. Genas family loves spending time outdoors and attending KSU football games. They are proud to be raising their family in Topeka.

In addition to his full-time orthodontic practice, Dr. Scott has published numerous research articles, served as editor of the International OrthodonticReview Journal, is on staff as a clinical instructor in the orthodontic department at the UMKC School of Dentistry and is a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists, the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. Dr. Scott is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists. She is a clinical instructor at the UMKC Graduate Orthodontics Department.
