She is native from Carolina, Puerto Rico which makes her fully fluent in Spanish and English. Dr. Cardona has been practicing in the Atlanta area since 2007. Her main interest is full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She enjoys spending time with her family, daughter and her two Yorkies.
Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are the only dental specialists recognized by the American Dental Association who are surgically trained in a hospital-based residency program for a minimum of four years. They train alongside medical residents in internal medicine, general surgery and anesthesiology, and spend time in otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat), plastic surgery, emergency medicine and other specialty areas. This training focuses almost completely on the bone, skin and muscle of the face, mouth and jaw. Oral and facial surgeons have knowledge and expertise that uniquely qualifies them to diagnose and treat a number of functional and esthetic conditions in this anatomical area.

Most awful experience with the doctor and staff. Most unprofessional and down right mean. I would never go here. They didn't call in for my son's medication and they didn't give us the instructions on what to do before the surgery and had the audacity to cancel my son's surgery for no reason. Needs better bed side manners and treat people with empathy not apathy. Directly to doctor: Texts and phone calls never came from you. No instructions. Let's face it, you dropped the ball on us. I believe your feelings were hurt because I wrote an email to you about how you treat people and the only person you can go after was my son and that's why you canceled the surgery. So sad. Tisk tisk.

I came to get a 2nd opinion on an extraction that caused a perforation into my sinus cavity.Dr. Cardona-Rohena had done my wisdom teeth a few years prior and done and amazing job. So after hearing i need surgery again and not feeling comfortable with the first referral i made an appointment to see Dr. Cardona-Rohena. I cant tell you how amazing she and her office is. I am a cash pay patient with no insurance and i was terrified at the damage done to my mouth and the cost to fix it. Dr. Cardona-Rohena made me feel so comfortable and answered all of my questions. I left in tears so relieved for the first time in weeks that i could afford to fix my mouth and that it would be done by a doctor who truly cares about her patients. Dr. Cardona-Rohena is one of a kind and i am so thankful for her and her wonderful office staff.

The staff are all wonderful. The front desk is managed by Leslie. She is welcoming with a great attitude and friendly demeanor. Ashley explains everything in detail and very thorough. Dr. Cardona-Rohena is the best I have encountered. She is very gentle, concerned for your comfort and it is a joy to be a patient of hers. Her assistants are very attentive and professional. Amazing! Everyone is very professional, empathetic, comforting, and prompt. My son (teenager) had the procedure, but this has been the best experience I have had with an Oral Surgeons office. They made everything easy for us. I will brag about Hamilton Mill Oral & Facial Surgery to everyone I know!

This place is HIGHLY unprofessional. Their communication skills are horrific and they have no problems wasting hard working parents time and with repeated unnecessary trips to their office. I highly recommend that you do not use this company for any of your dental needs.

Recently got my wisdom teeth removed from this facility. I didn't have to wait long in my car for neither my scheduled consultation nor procedure.. as soon as I called to let them know I was in the parking they were ready for me. Staff members from the front office to the back were not only professional but friendly and relatable. After my procedure, they called my caretaker multiple times to check in and make sure everything was going well. Definitely one of my better experiences with any dental office.

Everyone always complains about the pain they go through after their wisdom teeth removal. Let me tell y'all I experienced NO pain at all! I got 5 teeth removed and I didn't hurt a single day! My sister the same way, she went through no pain during or after the procedure! The staff were really nice and professional, (especially the lady at the front desk, she's the sweetest) They made me feel comfortable and less nervous. We got an appointment within a week or two after our consultation, which is crazy because usually other places make you wait up to 6 months. We ended up changing the date because I was taking finals that week, but still, this shows how flexible they are. Great experience! :)

My wisdom teeth have been bothering me for a very long time . I waited too long to get them pulled. I am 19 and I was very scared to get this done but I am so glad I did ! My surgery went very well and they made sure I was in good hands . Very nice people :) I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs oral surgery. They are great at what they do!!
