If there 's 'one thing' to say to kids to gain their trust, I haven 't found it yet! Each patient is unique, and what works for one kiddo may not work for another. But I always tell my families; first and foremost, I 'm a mom. I care for each patient as if he or she was my own child. Being a mom has perfected my skill to give a little push or a little hug when necessary.
Dr. Juntgen is married and a mom to four amazing kids, Elaine, Matthew, Harvey, and Duke. She met her husband Dave in middle school, and they graduated from the same high school in her hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She has been a Hoosier all her life, except for when she attended dental school for four years in Cleveland, OH.
Dentistry seemed to choose Dr. Juntgen. She knew from a young age that she wanted to work in medicine, but finds dentistry adds the benefit of business ownership. This allows Dr. Juntgen to invest more time in her team and community, promoting outreach and charity involvement whenever possible.

Dr. Juntgen and her team are truly awesome. My kids are treated like royalty every time and they truly care about each individual patient and their needs. Cannot recommend this team enough!

We love Dr. Juntgen! She's taken good care of both my daughter's from the beginning of there care to present. We are pleased with her office staff and care. Just had our first visit. My super anxious 4yo loved it! We got to pick a show to watch on a tv on the ceiling, and got a token at the end to pick out a small prize. The hygienist and dentist were both fantastic with my son, explaining everything they were doing while keeping it fun. I also appreciated how quickly they moved things along so that we were never left waiting long before the appt started or before we saw the dentist after the initial cleaning. My son has been talking about the appt nonstop and how cool it was.

Dr. J and the staff are wonderful! They make something that could be scary for kids into something fun. We have had three kids cared for here and they've been so great with all of them. The only downside is that our kids are getting older and are outgrowing pediatric dentistry. We love coming here.

My girls thoroughly enjoyed their visit today. They were relaxed the whole time. Dr Juntgen and her team were so patient and fun. The procedures are done so that kids feel comfortable from start to finish. I am happy that the team gives me all the information I need in order to optimize their dental health. My kids can't stop raving about the mini manicure they got. We are definitely happy and satisfied patients!

The entire staff is wonderful! Our 2 year old son has been in twice & received excellent care from Dr. Laura & Amy the Dental Hygienist. A pediatric dentist visit can be upsetting for children but these women go above and beyond to make our little guy feel so comfortable. I'd recommend them to every parent.

We are so thankful for Hamilton County Pediatric dentistry! We switched to them a couple years ago and I'm so glad we did! The entire team is so patient and kind. They go at the speed of your child. My sons, 6 and 3, needed x-rays. They tried with my oldest and were able to get a couple, but didn't push him to do more. My youngest they could tell just wasn't ready, so they said we will try next time. They are being very safe and clean with COVID procedures too. Thank you ladies for all you do!

HCPD really made my daughter feel comfortable visiting the dentist. There were no surprises or anxiety for my daughter as every tool/device was explained in detail before use. Including purpose, sounds, smells, tastes, feelings that would be experienced. The entire staff were friendly, informative, and helpful with clear transparent communication. Everyone took the time to listen and answer every question we had (even my daughter's questions about cats). There are a lot of small details to make kids feel comfortable and welcome. My daughter can't wait for her next visit.

Amazing, compassionate staff! As a parent with a child who is very anxious about the dentist I can highly recommend Dr. Juntgen and Amy who are extremely compassionate, patient, and gentle with the young patient. This is what an exemplary pediatric dental care should look like.

Dr Juntgen is great! Office is clean and tvs hang above cleaning bays. Hygienist's are amazing. Best part is both my kids love going to the dentist! Would definitely recommend!

My son is terrified of the dentist and has never sat through a cleaning without tears before we went to HCPD. The whole office was so patient with him, explaining every step and even letting him "help." I can not say enough wonderful things about them!

We just recently moved into the area and needed to find a pediatric dentist for our kids. Unfortunately the oldest one needed two teeth pulled as her adult teeth were almost in. I found Dr. Juntgen with such great reviews and thought this would be our best option. My daughter was already nervous about going to a dentist cleanings let alone having her teeth pulled. This office could not have made it easier and a better experience. My daughter left happy and excited to come back. I just brought my son in for his very first dentist visit. He had Amy as his hygienist. She was also amazing. He was very anxious about going. He left excited to go back. Just a huge relief knowing it's a positive experience each time. Thanks guys!!

This dentistry is amazing! All of our kids look forward to their dentist appointments and always ask how much longer until their next appointment. They do things such as paint nails while the kids wait, let them watch movies and pick out a prize with a coin after their appointment. They are kind and engaging and always ask our family what we have been up to. They suggest treatments that are needed and do not do anything extra that will make you wonder if the treatment is needed. They do fun contests and really educate kids as well as their parents/guardians on how to make each child's oral health better!! Check them out!!! :)

Took my daughter here for her first ever dentist appointment. Everyone here was absolutely amazing! They made her experience fun and as quick as possible. They gave me a lot of helpful tips and tricks to brush her teeth and even gave her a little toy! So glad I chose to take my daughter here.
