Dr. Eli Johnson has been providing dental services to Hamilton and the surrounding Bitterroot Valley since 2007. After receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery or DDS degree from Creighton University, he purchased his dental practice from Dr. James W. Olson, who started and ran the practice for over 30 years. In 2013, after working alongside Dr. Michael Taylor for 7 years, Dr. Johnson purchased Dr. Taylors practice upon his retirement. Prior to dental school, Dr. Johnson received a Bachelor of Science from Weber State University in Ogden, UT with studies in Microbiology. Outside the office, Eli enjoys the outdoors. He is an avid hunter and loves fly fishing. He is very involved in his church and with his family. Eli married his beautiful wife, Trieste, in 2000 and has three wonderful daughters Madison, Brynne, and Mariah.

Dr. Daniel Wharton was born in Billings, Montana, and graduated from Skyview High School in 2005. Dr. Wharton went on to an undergraduate degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, graduating in 2010. He attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and obtained his DDS in May of 2015. Being a native of Montana, Dr. Wharton has always had a desire to open a practice in Montana. When the opportunity arose, he seized it and has not looked back, opening Wharton Family Dentistry in August 2015. In January 2017, Dr. Wharton combined his practice with Dr. Johnson, and Hamilton Advanced Dentistry opened in January 2017. Dr. Wharton has a passion for dentistry and the safety and comfort of his patients. In his free time, Dr. Wharton loves to hunt, ski, fish, and watch college football. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Becky, their two sons, his family, and friends.

Becca has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for the past 20 years. After growing up in beautiful Corvallis, Montana, she attended Carroll College in Helena, Montana, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Dental Hygiene. Becca always provides quality care, is compassionate, loves working with people, and is gentle in her treatment of patients. Outside of the office, Becca enjoys family time and is an avid downhill skier as a member of the Lost Trail Ski Patrol, woodcarver, quilter and white water rafter.

Beth graduated in 1986 from Oregon Health and Sciences University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Beth has been caring for patients in the Bitterroot Valley since 1997 with a gentle, but thorough approach to dental hygiene. She enjoys working with people and educating patients on how to care for their oral health. Outside the dental office, Beth enjoys hiking, skiing, reading, and crafting with her three children, Carly, Jenny and Cole.

Carrie grew up in southwestern Idaho in a little town called Preston. She went to Preston High School, the school made famous in the movie, Napoleon Dynamite. After high school, Carrie attended Utah State University for three years, then finished her bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. Carrie and her husband spent 4 years in San Francisco bay area before settling in Hamilton almost 20 years ago. Carrie has 4 children and is a full time mom when she is not at the dental office. Carrie's mother and grandmother are also dental hygienists so it just runs in her DNA.

Shalae has been working in the dental field since 2002. She is passionate about providing patients with the best procedures and treatment. Staying up to date with continuing education courses on new techniques and technology is a huge part of this. Shalae has completed courses in Myofunctional therapy and is certified for laser use in dental hygiene.

When she is not working, Shalae is busy chasing her three awesome kids! As a family, they love the outdoors- hiking, fishing camping! Shalae is also excited to start learning the art of fly fishing on the beautiful Bitterroot River.

Lacey has been a dental assistant for Dr. Johnson since March of 2013. She enjoys her job and loves helping people. In her free time, Lacey loves spending time with her husband, daughter and three labs. As a family, they enjoy hunting, fishing and camping.

Dawn was born and raised here in Montana. She has been a dental assistant for 30+ years. Dawn enjoys taking care of patients and being a part of a great working team. Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her family and friends.

Jamie grew up in the Bitterroot Valley and has been a Dental Assistant since 2007. Jamie loves working in the dental field and getting to know the patients. Jamie has two kids and SEVERAL pets. Outside the office, Jamie enjoys spending time with her kids, being a full time mom, and spending time with her family. You can usually find Jamie and her family down at the lake or up at the ski hill.

Helping patients feel better and achieve good oral health is what Sarah enjoys most about her job. She feels blessed to be able to work with such a wonderful team, learning and growing with them. In her freetime, Sarah enjoys gardening, reading and writing, music, and spending time with her loved ones.

Tammy loves working in the dental office. The staff is wonderful and the patients are a pleasure to get to know. In her down time, Tammy enjoys being outdoors, taking photos, exploring Montana, training her two german shepherds, and spending time with her family.

Pamela has worked in the dental field for over 30 years. She enjoys making patients feel comfortable and chatting with them about gardening, quilting, the history of the Bitterroot Valley, and their own life experiences. Pamela has lived in the Bitterroot Valley for the past 24 years with her husband and son. Her son recently enlisted in the Army. In her free time, Pamela enjoys spending time with friends and family, camping, exploring the great outdoors, and simple Sunday dinners. Pamela is living her wonderful life to the fullest!

Minda was born and raised in Montana.She enjoys spending time on her ranch in Charlo, MT, riding horses, barrel racing, and spending time with her family. Minda's favorite part about working in the dental office is getting to know all of the wonderful patients and helping provide the best experience for every patient that visits Hamilton Advanced Dentistry.
