Jeffrey A. Hameroff, DDS is originally from Norfolk, Virginia. He has practiced the specialty of Periodontics in Hernando County , Pinellas County, and Citrus County since 1988. A board eligible Periodontist, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his dental and specialty degree in periodontics from Emory University, in Georgia.
Dr. Hameroff continued his education in 1997 for I.V. Conscious Sedation at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York. He has also completed extensive studies in the field of Oral Implantology. He is a member of several organizations such as the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, American Society of Anesthesiology, International Congress of Oral Implantology, West Coast Dental Society, West Pasco and Hernando Dental Societies.Dr Hameroff has served the community with his active involvement on the board of directors for St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, Seven Springs Rotary Club, and The Lighthouse for the Blind and Visual Impaired.In his free time, Dr. Hameroff enjoys boating, bicycling, horses, exercise, traveling, and spending time with his family. He is the proud parent of two daughters, Autumn and Savanna, and one grandson, Branden.

I couldn't have had a better experience with a dentist. I was referred to him, I needed 4 teeth removed and a deep cleaning with IV sedation. Dr. Hameroff was so kind and so understanding, his staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend him for any of your surgery/cleaning needs. Truly appreciate the care I was given. I hate going to the dentist, but with him I actually look forward to it now. A huge thank you to him and the entire staff!!

I've had two procedures done with Dr. Hameroff and have been very happy with both. Neither time was I waiting long for my scheduled appointment. The staff was always warm, fun and courteous. The price was much more affordable than what I had seen elsewhere and I didn't feel like I was surprised by anything on the day of the procedure. Dr. Hameroff seemed very competent and capable. He gives the impression that he wants to keep things simple for his patients and that he has their best interest in mind.

From the first phone call to schedule an appointment; this team of friendly, helpful professionals, made me feel right at home! Excellent patient care! The dentist explained everything to me in a manner which is understandable, he provided answers to all my questions. I also work in the Health Care setting and Dr. Hammeroff is top notch when it comes to professionalism and compassion! He was very liberal with the Anesthesia and pain control as to ensure my comfort during the procedure. Thank you Dr. Hameroff and staff!

I was referred to Dr. Hameroff by my dentist office because I was having problems with my gums. He is great! Very caring and easy to talk to, down to earth. I had surgery that healed perfectly and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a periodontist. The office staff is very friendly and caring. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Recently had a couple teeth pulled. I was very nervous going in however the staff along with Dr Hameroff quickly changed that. Everyone was super friendly and seemed to genuinely care. One of the girls even called to check on me later that same day

(TL;DR: I have a wicked bad phobia of the dentist and Dr. Hameroff made me feel unbelievably comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs a dentist!) I have a wicked bad phobia of the dentist and I will have a panic attack as soon as I sit in a dentist chair. I Involuntarily shake, my heart starts to race, my palms get sweaty, I start to breathe quickly, get tunnel vision, and can't concentrate or understand anything that is being said to me because I'm in a full blown panic attack. I had a severely broken molar last year and couldn't find a dentist that took my insurance or taking new patients. I was desperate to have it pulled because I was in so much pain. I was referred to Dr. Hameroff by the Just Pull It clinic. From the second he entered the room he talked to me like I was a human being and he understood my fear. He did an amazing job at making me feel relaxed and less stressed out. The sedation worked wonders and when I woke up the extraction didn't hurt at all. Now....fast forward a few months. I had a medical episode and passed out and broke both of my upper front teeth. They recently started to hurt immensely. I called and made an appointment with Dr. Hameroff again since my first visit was amazing. He got me in the same week that I called. I could only afford one of my front teeth to be extracted but BOTH needed to get pulled because they were that badly broken. He suggested I get both pulled and have a flipper made. I told him I couldn't afford it as I was holding back tears because it was very upsetting to me. Sedation worked wonderfully just like last time. When I was asleep he had my husband sign a paper allowing him to extract the second tooth. Dr. Hameroff, out of the kindness of his heart, pulled both and only charged me for 1. When I woke up and my husband told me what happened, I cried like a baby because I was so happy and beyond thankful. Dr. Hameroff doesn't know it but what he did helped change my life forever. Once I'm completely healed up and save money I'm going back to him for that flipper. I'll be able to smile an open mouth smile in pictures for the first time in my 34 years of being alive. Dr. Hameroff is truly amazing and his staff is great........but Bella is the best lol

NO MASK! Beware if you or someone in your household has pre-existing conditions. He came in without a mask and when I asked him he stated "I don't believe in masks and I don't believe in vaccines". When someone is prodding around in your mouth during a pandemic, the least they can do is have some basic respect and wear a MASK. He was also very unprofessional in general, but his staff was great.

I liked Dr. Hammeroff, but he did not wear a mask for my examination which I feel is totally reckless. Also, the lady at the front desk was not at pleasant to deal with. Looking elsewhere.

I had been dealing with advanced gum diease for years. I was too scared to go to a dentist, for the fear that I would loss my bottom front teeth. I finally decided to go. Dr Hameroff was able to save my teeth!! He removed all the built up plaque and put me on a care regimen. I'm so thankful for him for saving my teeth. If you have tthe same fears that I did, don't delay! He staff is wonderful and I never wait long at all. Bonus, I love seeing Bella the therapy dog there! She is always happy to great me.

Loved my experience with Dr. Hameroff. I had all four wisdom teeth removed and it was much easier and stress free than I ever could have imagined. You can definetly tell he knows what he is doing. The whole staff was great.
