Been coming to Hamel Dental for well over a decade. The staff is extremely friendly and caring. They make you feel like family! Their work is fantastic and efficient ranging from standard cleanings to cavity fillings and beyond. The only dentist office I'll ever go to!

Besides the fact that that office has been remodeled and is gorgeous, the staff is very professional, helpful and friendly. I recently went in for a toothache, they found time for me that day. Dr. Hamel referred me to an excellent endodondist because I needed a root canal. Again excellent care. Now I returned for a dental cleaning and I met Asia, one of the hygienists. Not only is she skilled and friendly but in all my years of cleanings, I never had someone so thorough as well as so gentle! This makes it easy to come back every 6 months!!! Dr. Hamel did a complete exam, explaining everything while he was checking and filled my newly done root canal tooth. Absolutely outstanding care. Thank you Dr. Hamel and staff.

People usually don't look forward to their dental visits, but I do! My experience at Hamel Dental has always been very enjoyable. I trust Dr Hamel completely and I like him as a person. He treats his patients with care, compassion, and sympathy. Once I had terrible pain in the roof of my mouth caused by a surgery in my nose by another doctor. I visited four different doctors and nobody was able to help me. In the end, I called Dr. Hamel and he saw me immediately. He understood the pain and he didn't let me wait. I had been in pain for two weeks. Dr Hamel took care of it and I could finally eat and speak as normal. This was an unforgettable experience and I will always remember the kindness of Dr Hamel.

I highly recommend Hamel Dental! After moving to the area recently and hearing and reading positive feedback and reviews, I scheduled my first appointment. I was not disappointed! Dr. Philip, Sheila, Chris, Asia and the entire team go above and beyond. They are welcoming, knowledgeable, patient and professional, answering all and every question (no matter how many!). Dr. Philip explained the procedures I needed thoroughly and during the appointment, continually checked in with me to see how I was doing. I had some underlying issues before starting at Hamel Dental and Dr. Philip took the time to talk through all of the issues with me. I never felt rushed. He asked me questions and listened to my concerns, providing thoughtful feedback, options and next steps. He even followed up with me to see how I was doing. Along with being an excellent dentist, Dr. Philip is a kind, caring person. I will be recommending this practice to all my family and friends!

Dr. William Hamel and Dr. Phillip Hamel are the best! Asia is an awesome hygienist too. I've been going to them for the past 4 years and have been completely happy. Everyone in the office is super friendly and helpful. Also, Dr. William Hamel took care of my three children for the past 20 years! I totally and completely trust him, Dr. Phillip Hamel and everyone in their office.

First visit after changing from previous dentist of 20 years. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Hygienist, Asia, was wonderful, so conscientious, probably the best teeth cleaning I ever had!! Wonderful receptionist and staff to help navigate the work to be done. Office was beautiful and seems to have impressive dental technology. Referred by a friend who has been a patient, along with her whole family, for many years. Thanks to everyone there who helped make a new dentist visit a very positive experience!

My family just moved to Clarendon Hills from Maryland. We needed to find a dentist. We got a few recommendations for Hamel Dental and made appointments. My daughter, who is 6, had a great visit. She had X-rays (Chris), a cleaning (argh, I forget her name but she was awesome!!! Mimi I think?) and a thorough exam by Dr. Hamel (son) and all went well. He took his time and carefully explained something about one of my daughters teeth. She is always nervous in medical settings and left smiling, which is enough for a 5 star rating itself. For my visit, Dr. Hamel (father) cleaned my teeth. They were pretty stained and I was overdue for a cleaning. Dr. Hamel took his time and got my teeth the cleanest they have ever been. He was also great at explaining a couple of issues I was having with my teeth and proposed treatments. He is VERY knowledgeable and I felt I was in very capable hands. I was also interested in teeth whitening, so Chris explained ALL of my options and patiently answered all of my questions. I never once felt rushed even though my visit was stretching a bit longer than usual due to the condition of my teeth and my whitening consult. Last, but not least, the receptionist and all of the hygienists and dentists treat you as a friend. They call you by name and are so very friendly. I am very happy we found Hamel Dental and I would highly recommend them for your family.

Best dentist around!! As much as going to the dentist can be a dreadful experience, I always look forward to my visits here. The staff is amazing, helpful, personal and great at what they do. After moving out of state I still continue to come back for my dentist visits and will continue to do so for many years to come. I always fell welcomed and love that the staff always go the extra mile to have my smile looking the best!

Hamel Dental is by far the best dental office I have ever visited. They are friendly and highly professional, and treat patients with respect and kindness. The staff takes the time to educate patients on the key points of treatment plans and makes sure that patients understand exactly why a certain treatment is needed. From the receptionist to the hygenists to the dentists, they are all extremely competent, highly skilled professionals. The dental care I have received at Hamel Dental has been outstanding, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I highly recommend Hamel Dental. Dr. Phil and Chris are the greatest. The thing I like best is how they explain the procedure before they begin and give updates throughout the process. The office is state of art in procedures and equipment. Patient comfort is a high priority. Their procedures during Covid-19 are designed to protect the patient. First their screening technique, next controlled entrance to the facility and finally exam rooms with filters and at the height of the pandemic with plastic covering all patient doorways. I've moved out of state and sad I won't be going to Hamel Dental anymore.

Some people are blessed with beautiful teeth from Mother Nature. I was not. When I was 11 or 12 I began seeing an ortho for braces at the Clarendon Hills office of Dr Keane (apologies if I've misspelled his name); he was a kindly, grandfatherly fella who retired before the braces were removed. Dr Hamel took over the practice and I have stayed on--as evidenced by my gorgeous teeth--over 40 years later. Have you ever been complimented on your smile, because of your beautiful choppers? I have; it happens all the time. I left the western burbs a long time ago and my dental care is the only medical provider I didn't take with me to the city. They're the kindest people at Hamel Dental, and it's now a family business that has somehow managed to stay in the same location while expanding. I can't wait to see the gorgeous new buildout once all the final punchlists have been cleared. But most of all, it's the consummate professionals inside the building who matter most. Let's be honest; no one really likes to go to the dentist. But you have to go because your teeth are vital to your overall health and should never be ignored or taken for granted. Hame Dental cares. And they are exceptional on all levels. The staff is highly competent, professional, articulate and, believe it or not, kind of fun! The music is (mostly) great. Super clean spaces too. Dr. Bill is a real pro, A+. He is honest and highly skilled. Paulina is an amazing hygienist, Dr. Philip is right on his Dad's heels and is great, Chris is as solid as a rock. Everyone else at that new, modern office is also very patient centered. Take care of your teeth; let Hamel Dental help you do that.
