Dr. Alisha Patel is a Kentucky native, who received her doctorate in medical dentistry from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Upon graduating, she completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of California in San Francisco, where she was able to gain more knowledge and experience from well seasoned providers before practicing as an associate general dentist. Once she completed the program, she decided to stay in the San Francisco Bay Area for several years, where she continued to develop her craft in dentistry and provide care in modern offices with the most up-to-date and state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
Dr. Patel is well known for her fun and energetic personality, which has helped ease her patients dental anxiety. She hopes to not only be a great dentist and provide quality care but be your personal healthcare cheerleader. She wants to motivate her patients, whether it be to be more proactive, more preventive, or be more educated about their health. She believes by working as a team, patients can find success in achieving optimum oral health. Her drive to help stems from seeing her patients find success and satisfaction in the work she has provided. The connection she develops with her patients and the ability to make their day better makes her excited to report to work everyday. Dr. Patel believes in providing care with honesty, integrity, and compassion.
While away from her patients, Dr. Patel enjoys working out, attending sporting events or concerts, and finding ways to exercise her appreciation for history, art, and the theatre. As a self-proclaimed foodie she also enjoys finding new restaurants and breweries, distilleries, or wineries. Very seldom will she miss an opportunity to cheer on her alma mater, the Kentucky Wildcats and her ongoing NBA love for the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings!
Leaving the San Francisco Bay Area was a very difficult decision for Dr. Patel but she is very excited to bring her expertise and knowledge in dentistry to serve the communities of Lexington. As Happy Chandler, Sr. once said, I never met a Kentuckian who wasnt either thinking about going home or actually going home. Dr. Patel couldnt agree more and looks forward to replanting her old roots, being closer to friends and family, and establishing many new friendships and relationships.
Alisha Patel, DMD, a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and University of California in San Francisco, practices at Hamburg Family Dental. While in San Francisco, Dr. Patel studied advanced dental practices, gaining expertise through the newest technology within Silicon Valley. At Hamburg Family Dental, patients enjoy her fun, bubbly personality, which dissipates their dental anxiety and makes them feel welcomed and at home. Dr. Patel aims for more than exceptional dentistry; she works to be the a catalyst for patients to make informed treatment decisions and achieve optimum oral health.

Kristin was born and raised on the west side of Cincinnati, OH. She is the oldest of four; her family includes one sister and two brothers. Kristin attended grade school through second grade and then was homeschooled until high school. She went to a small university five minutes down the road from her house, which is where she met her husband. When they got engaged, they decided Lexington was the place they wanted to live and raise their family. They currently have two kids, Annalise and Gabriel. Shortly before Gabriel was born, Kristin finished school for dental assisting.
Kristins hobbies outside of work and spending time with her family include building/home projects and organizing. She loves to make new things and has made quite a bit of the sign wall decor in her home. She also enjoys building any new furniture they order (bookshelves, crib, or a dresser). She also loves watching any medical shows with some wine and a warm fuzzy blanket.
Rachel was born in Lexington but raised in South Florida. She later moved back to Lexington with her family after finishing high school. She went to Spencerian College for massage therapy and graduated with her degree in Medical Massage.
Rachel is a very positive and highly motivated woman. She is a single mother of two boys, Landyn and Caleb, and they constantly keep her on her toes. Rachels hobbies include photography, running her online boutique, cars, hiking, and spending as much time at her lake house as possible.
She has been working in the dental field since 2008 and enjoys every minute of her career. Rachel entered the dental field because she enjoys making people smile. She loves how great dental work can positively impact someones life and make them happier and radiate with confidence. She puts 100% into everything she does and takes great satisfaction in her work. Through their parents friendship, she and her husband, Jordan, were childhood friends that led to becoming high school sweethearts. They eventually got married in 2006. In 2016, they moved to Georgetown, KY with their son, Hunter. Though she is a country girl at heart, she really loves living in Georgetown.
Along with the joys of spending time with family and friends, Alyssa enjoys doing anything outdoors such as gardening, grilling out, and camping. She also loves crafting and reading a good book. She also enjoys entertaining, spending time with friends, and the occasional good glass of wine.
Alyssa has many years of medical and dental office experience and loves her job! She joined the Hamburg Family Dental team in December 2020. She takes great pride in her work and wants to help our patients feel comfortable and taken care of in any way she can. She cant wait to meet you and your smile!
Adela was born in Bosnia and moved to Connecticut when she was 5 years old. She spent most of her high school years in Bowling Green, KY and received her dental hygiene degree from Western Kentucky University from 2010-2014 (Go Hilltoppers!).When she isnt at the office, Adela loves to spend time with her husband, Joe, and their young daughter, Mia. They can be found dancing to all kinds of music and cooking Italian food almost daily.
