For Stacie, the most fulfilling aspect of her job is making patients comfortable while educating them on their specific oral hygiene needs. She graduated from Mott Community College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science and has been working at our office since 2004.
A 1991 graduate of Mott Community College, Lori has been in the dental field since 1987. I love working with people, and I enjoy helping them to maintain their oral health. When shes not working, she likes spending time in the outdoors, going up north and getting together with her friends. She also enjoys reading.
To prepare for her job, Brooke enrolled in Mott Community Colleges Dental Assisting program, graduating in 2015 with an Associate Degree in Applied Science. She has been with our office since then. I love interacting with our patients and helping to educate them about their oral hygiene.
Her mother was a pediatrician but Dr. Larashi felt drawn to dentistry because of her own personal experiences. As a child, she had a dentist who was always friendly and a joy to visit. Dentistry offered a different type of work-life balance than traditional medicine and so after graduating with her undergraduate degree she went on to study dental medicine at Boston University. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2013.
Throughout Dr. Larashis education, she enjoyed the diverse patient population whom she was able to serve: seniors most especially. I find it extremely fulfilling to see a patient smile again or get out of pain, she says. Her favorite part of dentistry? The long-lasting relationship. Being able to see her patients on a frequent basis allows her to establish true friendships that go beyond just the traditional dentist-patient connection.
