We strictly apply safety protocols around the removal of mercury amalgam restorations. Onsite digital dental x-rays aid in diagnosis and treatment planning in a very low dose radiation format. Limiting exposure to toxins and promoting wellness is at the core of everthing we do.
Dr. David Donelson is from Atlanta and has a license to practice in Tennessee, Florida, New York, and Dubai. Dr. Donelson received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) in 2009 from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. He then moved to Jacksonville to attend a post graduate certificate program in general dentistry at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. While practicing in New York City, Dr. Donelson also served as clinical faculty at New York University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Donelson moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2012 to continue his practice, bringing American education and smile design to the Middle East. He was the Consultant Dentist for Valiant Clinic and specialized in Smile Design and esthetic dentistry. While in the region, Dr. Donelson lectured on dental photography, smile design and esthetic dentistry.
In 2015, Dr. Donelson received his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction only 5% of practicing US dentists achieve. Dr. Donelson is also a Platinum Invisalign provider and was the top performing General Practitioner in the Middle East Region.
Dr. Donelson is a current or past member of many academies, including the Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Hallmark Dental would like to extend its best wishes to Dr. Ron Hallmark who retired on September 1, 2020. Dr. Ron has provided countless hours of excellent dental care to his patients for over 26 years in the Brentwood area. In addition to his extraordinary dental treatment, Dr. Ron has served as a voice for the dental community through his service with the American Dental Association and the Tennessee State Dental Association. Dr. Rons skilled dentistry, leadership, guidance, and wit will be greatly missed at Hallmark Dental. We applaud Dr. Rons lasting legacy with Hallmark Dental, his commitment to the dental community, and of course his commitment to his patients. Dr. Donaldson took great care of me. Everyone is so knowledgeable and the staff is very helpful. Whether you need third party financing, have general inquiries or want in house insurance they have you covered. (Fyi their in house insurance is the best) They gave me a million dollar smile for less than two hundred bucks.

It took sometime to find a dentist I trusted, sad to hear Dr Hallmark was retiring and was a little concerned I wouldn't be happy with his replacement but I kept my appointment and I sure glad I did! Very impressed with Dr Donelson, he spent time getting to know me, did an awesome job making a plan of care for my dental needs and gave me options. Know now I can trust him and will be staying as a patient at Hallmark Dental. Also want to give a shout out to his receptionist, very friendly and helpful.

Edit: (original post is below) I have now been three times to see Dr. Donelson and his staff. Each time has been excellent. I recently went in for some fillings and the procedure was very smooth with no worry on my part. I had a great experience for my first time as a new patient. Dr. Donelson is very personable and I appreciated him not trying to push me towards any particular services. He even cleaned my teeth personally and that's not something you see every day. Summer was also very nice and easy to talk to as well. Overall 10/10 and well worth the drive from West Nashville/Bellevue to Brentwood.

Today was a first visit with Dr. Donelson for me, and I was a little anxious about having a new dentist. I had done much research online to find the right dental clinic, and I left feeling that things couldn't have been more perfect. I was initially greeted by staff and did not have to wait before meeting the hygienist, Dee, who was obviously very skilled and explained everything about the process before we started the xrays. She showed me the xrays and answered all my questions about what we were seeing on the pictures. I immediately felt comfortable with her. Dr Donelson was wonderful and welcoming. He seemed genuinely interested in learning my dental history and gave me options for the work I need to have done. He, like Dee, took time to answer all questions and made me feel completely comfortable during my procedures. I didn't feel rushed or pressured in any way. I especially appreciate being provided with a cost estimate for my future work. All the staff I spoke to were excellent in customer service and knowledge. I feel really fortunate to be confident I have found an excellent dentist. I left with no reservations or negatives whatsoever. Based on what I know so far, I highly recommend Dr Donelson and his staff at the Hallmark Clinic.
