Originally from Webberville, MI Dr. Benjamin attended Western Michigan University for her undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences with minors in chemistry and Spanish. Dr. Benjamin received her doctorate in dental surgery from Indiana School of Dentistry and returned home to pursue her dental career. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family as she has six nieces and nephews.
Jamie has worked with Dr. Hallman one day a week since 2014 and is now our full time hygienist. Jamie is originally from Gaylord, MI but attended Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY and received her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007. She is married and has three children. In her spare time she enjoys running, biking, vacationing and spending time with her family.
Heather is new to our group but has been a long time resident of Haslett, MI; third generation. She attended Ferris State University and received her degree in 1994. Heather is married and has two daughters. In her spare time she enjoys golfing, boating, camping, and spending time with her family.
Angelica grew up in Lansing, has worked with Dr. Schaefer since 2016 and brings over twenty years of experience to the office. She originally started her career as a dental assistant and is now our patient coordinator and will help with all of your scheduling and insurance needs. Angelica is married and has three children. In her time away from the office you may see her around town as she is also a licensed Realtor. She enjoys golf, reading, being outdoors and spending time with her family.
Cheryl has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from MSU. She has her radiography certificate from the MDA and has been with our office since 2013. She is originally from Clio but moved to Holt when she married her husband, Paul. They have 2 beautiful daughters.. In her spare time, she enjoys walking, golfing, and being outdoors. Among her many talents, Cheryl is an avid painter.
Cindy is an Okemos High School graduate and an LCC Dental Assistant programgraduate. She was class president of her dental assisting class in 1984.Cindy enjoys golfing (with her husband Casey), gardening, and reading.Cindy has recently gone into partial retirement and works with Dr Hallmanwhen he is in the office.
Dr. Hallman graduated from Ann Arbor Pioneer HS in 1973, Michigan State University in 1977, and received his DDS degree from the University of Detroit in 1982. Dr. Hallman is now working part time and is enjoying his free time.
Dr. Schaefer grew up in Lansing, he attended his first year of college at New Mexico Military Institute. While there, he became committed to following in his father's footsteps in becoming a dentist. He went to Marquette University School of Dentistry and graduated in 1988. Dr. Schaefer is married, has two children and one grandson. He performs all dental procedures but is focusing on surgeries, root canals and dental implants.

Tooth extraction went smoothly, no pain or discomfort. Dr. Benjamin explained what she was doing and what to expect, and Cheryl provided expert assistance and post-op advice. I have been going to this same office for over 30 years, seeing two dentists retire, and the present crew is top-of-the-line. Highly recommended.

Had a great experience with Heather and Dr. Benjamin on my very first visit. She showed me how I was ruining my teeth by not using my bite splint. Also, there was something in question and got a referral the same day. This was one of my first clear, clear experience with such an understanding explanation of everything.

Dr Benjamin is very intune to the needs of her patients. She listens and supports without passing judgment. Her skills are top-notch. Cheryl sets me at ease from the moment I enter the room. The teamwork between Dr. B and Cheryl is respectful...they support each other! The office staff is friendly and joyfully helpful. I always leave from my cleanings with Jamie (hygienist) well informed and armed with new learnings.
