Dr. Raphael Arwas grew up in Montreal,Canada. Having been around dentistry throughout his life, thanks to his father working at the local college and using the services of the dental school; being a patient himself, he became passionate about dentistry.

After dental school, Dr. Arwascontinued his passion towards dentalsurgery by pursuing a surgical based hospitalresidency program at Peninsula Hospital Center in Queens New York, where he sharpened his dentalspecialty skills in the fields of oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and prosthetics.

My overall experience has been amazing! I had severe tooth pain and they were able to get me in the next day! The office staff is very friendly and Dr. Arwas is very personable and extremely experienced. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an incredible dentist.

Just had two implants put in today and two teeth pulled I have over 20 years dental experience so I know how and why they're doing everything they do. This dentist is incredible his hands are like feathers totally painless I'm not uncomfortable at all and this is the first night so I do recommend highly and this is speaking from experience.

I recently saw Dr. Arwas for the first time. I broke a back molar and all that was left was a small amount of tooth and a large amount of filling. What a nice, gentle and kind man. Of the options I was given, I chose to have the tooth removed. On my return I was nervous. Dr. Arwas helped alleviate my anxiety. I didn't want anesthesia and so Dr. Arwas numbed the area without hurting me. It took some time, but, with the skill of a surgeon he removed the broken tooth completely. I was given instructions and got an appointment for a follow up visit. Dr. Arwas and his team did not allow me to leave until I fully understood how to care for the wound. I highly recommend Hallandale Beach Dental. Dr. Arwas is a great dentist as well a a good person. His office staff are very friendly and professional. So glad I decided to go there. I came to this office with tooth pain from an exposed nerve. On a scale of 1-10 the pain was 100!! Dr. Arwas saw my painful desperation and performed an emergency root canal. He explained everything thoroughly and was always concerned about my comfort level. The professional, kind and friendly staff, along with Dr Arwas' s expert care turned a nightmare into a bearable situation. I highly recommend this group to anyone looking for a "Good Dentist."

Doctor Arwas and staff are very compassionate and caring and takes a lot of time to satisfied the patient doesn't rush you in and out... originally came to the office for an emergency appointment but I keep coming as a regular patient now. I highly recommend this dental practice.

I had a broken tooth on a weekend before a major holiday. Dr Arwas helped me and stayed late and waited for me to help me get through the holiday until he could put in a crown. Very affable personality and his staff is wonderful, polite and can't do enough for you.
