Dr. Miriam Hall has extensive training in the specialty of orthodontics and dento-facial orthopedics. She received both her dental school and orthodontic residency training at the prestigious Ivy League University of Pennsylvannia. Dr. Hall was raised in Westfield, NJ and began her higher education at Lafayette College in Easton, PA, where she achieved her bachelors degree in Biology. Playing soccer and being a competitive athlete from a young age helped to shape Dr. Halls character. She was part of the Olympic development soccer team for several years and went on to be captain of her colleges womens team where she received Division 1 Academic-Athlete honors. Being a student-athlete has helped to cultivate a strong team-oriented approach to her practice with the emphasis on developing strong relationships with each patient.
She pursued her dental training at the prestigious Ivy League University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon and the Matthew Cryer National Dental Honor Societies in 2008. She furthered her education in the specialty of Orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania and received her post-doctoral specialty certificate in Orthodontics in 2010.
Dr. Hall was honored by being published in the American Journal of Orthodontics. Her publication is entitled Effects of Rapid Palatal Expansion on the Sagittal and Vertical Dimensions of the Maxilla. Dr. Hall has been recognized as one of Nashville Lifestyles Top Orthodontists in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Besides creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Halls favorite time away from the office is spent with her husband Tom and their four children Jacob, Mila, Easton and Renna. On her time off, you will often find Dr. Hall coaching her kids soccer teams, cooking dinner for her family, or staying active at the gym or workout class! She is also a lover of all animals from cats and dogs to squirrels and chipmunks. Dr. Hall and her family attend St. Matthews and reside in Brentwood, TN.
