Routine x-rays are an important part of your diagnostic and preventative dental care. At Hale Family Dentistry, we use panoramic x-ray - a two-dimensional (2-D) dental x-ray examination that captures the entire mouth in a single image, including the teeth, upper and lower jaws, and surrounding structures and tissues. Panoramic x-rays cover a wider area than traditional x-ray and allows us to get important information about tooth positioning, gum or bone irregularities, and the nasal and sinus area. They can also reveal existing issues or help us identify potential problems, such as:
We all know tooth decay and cavities can be painful but it can also lead to worse infections if not treated properly. The good news is that tooth decay is also the most preventable disease in the world today.
At Hale Family Dentistry, we use the latest technology to diagnose, treat and prevent tooth decay. We also strive to educate our patients on proper dental hygiene so that they can help themselves in preventing decay. We are a mercury-free dental practice, so working to replace any mercury containing fillings of our patients is important to us.
Hale Family Dentistry uses the latest technology to ensure your experience getting crowns or veneers is fast, easy, and painless! Our advanced CEREC system means we can take care of your esthetic crowns or partial crowns in as little as a single visit! This technology means you experience no unpleasant impression material and no bothersome temporary prosthesis. Here's how it works:
If you are in need of dentures in the Orange, VA area, Hale Family Dentistry can help! Modern dentures not only look and feel much more real than in years past, but are often much more comfortable. Partial dentures can be a less invasive alternative to surgical implants if an accident results in missing teeth.
We offer full and partial dentures, including implant retained dentures (dentures that are supported by and attached to implants for stability). We also restore single tooth implants and implant bridges.
Many patients prefer an in-office 'power' bleach as these are the quickest way to whiter shades of teeth. We also offer 'bleaching' trays which are custom fitted to your teeth and gum lines. Both of these methods will allow for a more sustainable white smile as opposed to over the counter options such as whitening toothpastes, strips, gels or rinses.
