Alice D. Hale, DMD is inspired by her purpose to eradicate disease, prevent disease and to heal people. She began working in the dental field in 1987 in an oral surgeons office and then in 1996 she graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia School of Allied Health. She worked as a registered dental hygienist for seven years. Achieving her dream of becoming a dentist she graduated from the Medical College of Georgias School of Dentistry in 2007. Dr. Hale worked as an associate dentist in a practice in North Augusta, South Carolina for six years prior to purchasing her own practice in 2013.
Dr. Alice Hale understands how your overall health is directly related to the health of your mouth; this is the oral-systemic connection. The mission of her practice is to bridge the gap between dentistry and medicine to enable people to be healthier, maintain their dignity and live a long, amazing life. Through constant learning and continuing education in integrative dental medicine her and her team are dedicated to impacting lives by preventing diseases of the mouth and therefore, impacting the health of the body.

Kim is an experienced registered dental hygienist who joined Dr. Hale and team in 2013. She has been a part of both general dentistry and periodontal teams and is licensed to give nitrous oxide and infiltration anesthesia. During her career, she has regularly attended continuing education classes in various states. Kim had been dedicated to her patients for over 30 years. In her spare time she loves to travel and spend time with family.
Lauren joined Dr. Hale's team in 2015. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007. She loves caring for and teaching her patients the best way to maintain good oral hygiene for overall good health. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and 3 boys.
Nancy joined Dr. Hale's team as Office manager in 2013. She stays current on management, insurance and patient care issues by regularly attending continuing education classes including the annual Hinman Dental Meeting. She will be the contact person for insurance issues and will work with the patient to help them maximize their dental benefits. When not at work, she and her husband enjoy following Tennessee athletics, going to the beach and visiting their children and granddaughter.
Taylor joined our staff in August 2020. She moved to Aiken from the Jacksonville/St. Augustine area. Taylor has been a chairside assistant for the past 3 1/2 years. She loves to help people feel confident about their smile and calm their dental anxiety. When she is not at the officeshe likes to spend time with family and be outdoors.

It sure felt good getting back to Hale Dentistry after a 15 month, Covid induced absence. I am always impressed with the state of the art of dentistry there-- cutting edge, even the lobby and office space has been modernized. However something has to be done with that triptych in the lobby ;-).

Dr Hale took every precaution to protect my health while at the dentist's office. Dr Hale has implemented improvements in dental heath that are looking out for the overall health of the patient. Review and analysis of the biome of the mouth is just one. As always, everyone was very professional and friendly.

Kim the dental hygienist is a miracle worker. My teeth had been improperly cleaned for years. She SAVED me. She is so patient and kind and caring. I would recommend her to everyone.
