Dr. Bruce Burley is proud to be practicing dentistry in his home community. After graduating from Williamsport High School, Dr. Bruce Burley attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, cum laude. It was at Wake Forest that he met his wife, Connie, who was also a Biology major. Dr. and Mrs. Burley continue to be proud to be Demon Deacons.

Dr. Burley earned his D.D.S. degree from the University of Maryland Dental School, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1986. While at the University of Maryland Dental School, he was selected as a member of Gorgas Odontological Honor Society and the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society. He also served as co-editor of the Dental School yearbook.Dr. Bruce Burley has been practicing family and cosmetic dentistry in Washington County since 1986. During this time he has continued to spend hours reading and taking continuing education courses related to dentistry. These post-graduate continuing education achievements have awarded Dr. Burley a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.), recognizing him as a leader and example of the importance of quality continuing dental education to patient care. Dr. Burley is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Washington County Dental Society, having served as past president and past secretary of the dental society. He is also a member of the Academy for Computerized Dentistry and the Academy of Sports Dentistry.

Dr. Burley enjoys fishing, golfing, cycling, and spending time with his family when he isnt otherwise occupied with dental practice. Dr. Burleys wife, Connie, is a biology teacher at Boonsboro High School. They have two children, Brandon and Allison, and four beautiful grandchildren, Carter, Blake, Kasen, and Everett.

Dr. Brandon Burley is excited to have joined his dad in practice to serve the Hagerstown area. Brandon attended Boonsboro elementary, middle, and high schools, and went on to the University of Maryland at College Park, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, magna cum laude. While at the University of Maryland, Brandon enjoyed participating in many intramural sports teams, as well as the University of Maryland club soccer team. Brandon was a member of the Life Sciences Scholars program and other honor societies including Mortar Board, Phi Kappa Phi, NSCS, and Golden Key.

Dr. Brandon Burley earned his DDS degree from the University of Maryland Dental School, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2010, graduating with honors as he was elected to both Gorgas Odontological Honor Society and the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society, serving as secretary his senior year. Once Brandon began private practice in Hagerstown, he served as President of the Washington County Dental Society from 2013-2015. Dr. Brandon is a member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

When not occupied with dental practice, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their children, Blake and Everett. Brandon also enjoys playing soccer and piano. He feels that his exposure to new dental technology and research, backed by the mentor-ship from his dad, Bruce, provides an exciting opportunity to serve the dental needs of his hometown community.

Dr. Brandy Behrens is thrilled to be a part of the Hagerstown Smiles team. Having grown up in a small town in northern New York, Dr. Brandy feels right at home here in Hagerstown. Brandy attended the University of Delaware, where she graduated with honors in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. While at Delaware, she enjoyed volunteering, working as a campus tour guide, and cheering on the Fightin Blue Hens football team.

Dr. Brandy earned her DDS degree from the University of Maryland Dental School Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2013. During her time at the dental school, Dr. Brandy was involved in the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Association of Women Dentists.

Outside of the office, Brandy spends time with her husband, Dan, and their children, Amelia and Evan. They live in Hagerstown and enjoy spending time outdoors and caring for their flock of backyard chickens. Dr. Brandy is proud to serve the dental needs of the Hagerstown community with care and compassion.

Dr. Kyle Briggs is excited to join the Hagerstown Smiles team and return to his hometown in Washington County. Kyle graduated from Boonsboro High School before he went on to the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Economics, cum laude. While at UMBC, Kyle enjoyed playing club lacrosse, volunteering through Mission of Mercy, being a peer health educator through University Health Services and holding leadership roles in the Pre-Dental Society and Global Dental Brigades.

Dr. Briggs earned his DDS degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. During his time in dental school, Kyle was involved in the Presidents Student Leadership Institute, Academy of General Dentistry, Project Jumpstart, and spent his senior year in a special care and geriatrics clerkship.

Outside of the office, Kyle enjoys spending his time at home with his Shiba Inu, Geno, and cooking. When he is not home, he can be found in Pittsburgh cheering on the Steelers and Penguins or enjoying the outdoors whether it be snowboarding or hunting and fishing. Dr. Briggs is proud to serve his home community with a patient centered and empathetic approach.

I joined Hagerstown Smiles in 2008 after working with my familys construction business. I became the Office Team Leader in 2010, and have enjoyed working in our compassionate and caring atmosphere since then. In my free time, I am a mom of 3 awesome kids, including my oldest son, Gabe, and twin girls, Bailey and Bella. I also enjoy cooking/barbecuing while perfecting my recipes and sauces using fresh produce from my garden any opportunity that I get! Additionally, I like to support my husband, Dustin, in his passion for metal detecting and history.

My name is Ashley, and I have been a Dental Hygienist since 2011. I grew up in Moyock, NC and attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. My husband Jason and I have been married since 2011, and we both enjoying life as parents to our son. Together we love being involved with our church, going to the beach, and traveling! It is so much fun meeting new people everyday as a member of the Hagerstown Smiles family. We have a great team of hygienists: Agnes, Alison, Brittany, Corynn, Kara, Kelly and Kristen.

My name is Kayla and I've been a Dental Assistant for close to 4 years now. I have been with Hagerstown Smiles since 2019 and I'm excited for this new opportunity as Dental Assistant Coordinator! I graduated from Hagerstown Community College for Dental Assisting, and I now attend Frostburg University for Business Management. Dental Assisting is my passion as I love getting to interact with all of our patients! When I'm not here, I waitress part-time and when I have extra time I like to spend it with my friends, family and 2 adorable dogs!We have an amazing group of assistants here at Hagerstown Smiles; Corri, Megan B., Megan P., Paige, Rosie, Sarah, and Sheanna.

I have been with Hagerstown Smiles Dental Care since 2017. You may recognize me as a Dental Hygienist, but have also taken over the exciting role of Marketing Coordinator! I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 15 years, and am in the process of pursuing my Bachelors Degree in Marketing- I am excited for this new opportunity that has allowed me to continue to grow within Hagerstown Smiles! I have a wonderful husband and daughter and we enjoy spending time outdoors and LOVE to camp!
