Dr. Andrew Hagan believes in a compassionate and caring approach to dentistry. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages and finds it very rewarding to help patients maintain healthy and great-looking smiles. Dr. Hagan frequently attends high-quality continuing education courses so that he can continue to bring the best and most modern techniques and technology to his patients.
Dr. Hagan attended Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. Dr. Hagan then attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
Dr. Hagan lives in Kingsport with his wife, Anna; his son, Anson; his daughter, Autumn; and their dog, Ollie. They enjoy life in the Tri-cities and love being a part of the community. His family enjoys hiking, and you will frequently see them at the Greenbelt or Warriors Path State Park. Dr. Hagan coaches his sons soccer team and is an active member of First Presbyterian Church.
Holly enjoys helping patients understand and utilize their insurance benefits and seeing them happy with work completed by our staff. She finds it rewarding to work in a dental office that cares so much about their patients health and dental needs.
Holly loves to kayak and enjoy the beautiful rivers and lakes in our area. She enjoys gardening, spending time with her husband, spoiling her two beautiful grandchildren, and reading on rainy days. Shopping is also a favorite past time!
Misty has been part of our team for 10 years. She enjoys building relationships with patients and helping them achieve dental health. In her free time, Misty enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, camping, gardening, and raising chickens.
Emmie recently joined our practice, and we are happy to have her with us! She is a native of Unicoi County, TN and attended East Tennessee State University. Emmie loves working in the field of dentistry. She particularly enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them feel more confident about their oral health.

All the staff is extremely friendly! Dr Hagan is very caring and gentle. I do not feel nervous going to the dentist here. I would recommend them to anyone looking.

Wonderful hygienists, dentist and staff. They are professional and caring. We now take our entire family including 4 young children to them. The kids actually prefer Dr. Hagan's office versus a pediatric dentist. They have been wonderful for regular cleanings but also for fillings/dental work on the children. Patient and kind, explain things for the kids, mom/ dad can go back with the child. Not pushy for new things but definitely doesn't miss anything either. We have finally found our long term family dentist.

False advertising what insurance they take even though their website says family & in big bold letters they take United Healthcare Community plan. Stay away! They want cash paying customers!!!!

Amazing dentist and staff!!! I have always had terrible anxiety whenever it comes to dentists. The staff always make me feel comfortable, safe and relaxed before any work starts. Hardly any pain or anything during procedure too!! Definitely not going anywhere else!!!

Found myself in severe pain over the weekend. Called my family dentist first thing Monday morning to be told they could work me in but would take just under 2 months, incredible!!!! Without being my family dentist I was worked in by Dr Hagen that afternoon. He realized this required the attention of an oral surgeon. Enter Associated Oral Implants and Surgery. Took me in the late afternoon after requested by Hagen's office. Tooth removed and immediate relief. Thanks to both offices. The office staff and all those at Dr Hagen's off ice are above exceptional , especially Dr Hagen!! Looking forward to the future with my new family dentist!!!!!!

Staff at the front desk is very personable, The ladies are very pleasant. Dr Hagan super nice, informative, and understanding. I would recommend this dentist office to my entire family if they weren't scattered across the country.

Had a tooth pulled today. Procedure went very smoothly and was out in 45 min . Dr Hagan is so nice and is excellent in his field. He is very honest when asking questions and if he feels you don't need something he will tell you. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. I am so glad I found this dentist office.

I got two crowns . One was a build up and the other a large molder that was waring away. I had insurance but they filed it wrong and I got sent the information because it was denied. I had asked before the crowns were set the woman working with Dr.Hagan what it might cost and she thought around 1500 to two thousand each. I thought well that's what it will be. No they charged my Insurance $7343. !!! I didn't get two newly formed teeth...I got the buildup and a crown that receeds in the center. I was going to reach out and let them know I wasn't happy. Then my husband had heart issues that kept us in and out of the hospital several times, one son moved back home and yes, life got busy. My husband had surgery in the hospital and it was far less than this bill! The Cartioligist got $2690 and three days in the hospital was $5430 plus exrays and drs. I got the bill the other day which blewy mind that a cartioligist was cheaper than a dentist. Well how do two crowns that don't come close to the teeth I had, cost so much? It's robbery and only adds to the overcharged insurance claims filed constantly leading to rising insurance costs! They are very nice there, that's not the issue. It just was a big mistake on my part. I won't be going back except for their hygienist. I won't recommend them for crowns either. I have two bridges in my mouth that cost less and they reformed all the teeth to look like the tooth they whittled down to near nothing.
