Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. Robert Haeger moved to the Seattle area in 1989, where he and his wife Leslie have raised three children. Dr. Haeger has been in the business of creating great smiles throughout South King County for more than 20 years and has been named one of the regions Top Orthodontists every year for almost a decade.
Having experienced braces as a child, he saw orthodontics as a way to combine his love of science and his passion for helping people in a hands-on way. He thoroughly enjoys seeing the positive changes that orthodontic treatment can bring to his patients lives. He is recognized as being a progressive orthodontist who embraces new forms of treatment and technology and has established a reputation for achieving excellent clinical results.
Dr. Haeger and the seasoned team at Haeger Orthodontics attract patients of all ages with their friendly approach and their skill with new technologies. Dr. Haegers soft-spoken personality and playful sense of humor puts patients at ease. Family and community values play a huge part in Haeger Orthodontics support of local youth activities. In addition to the popular Pizza/Dental Day parties, kids sports sponsorships and a college scholarship program, Dr. Haeger donates eight perfect smiles each year through the Smile for a Lifetime Foundation. He enjoys contributing his own time and the materials necessary to give underserved children and teens in the community the gift of a beautiful smile.
Chances are, Haeger Orthodontics has sponsored one of your childrens or neighbors kids sports teams. Each year, we provide equipment, financial support and even donate prizes (such as Mariners tickets) to sports teams throughout the South King County area.
Current or previous patients and their family members are eligible to apply (an e-mail notification will be sent to current and former patients when applications are being accepted). All completed applications received by the deadline are considered. The selection process is completely objective, as each application is number-coded and the name and school information is removed. Dr. Haeger personally reviews and selects recipients on a point based system.

Haeger Orthodontics goes above and beyond! We are so thankful for each individual who has worked with our kiddos; from the front desk to the back, when they are in the chair. I am impressed by the care and concern shown to us. They are equal parts encouraging and straightforward when one or the other of my kiddos needs to step up their game when it comes to brushing, flossing or being consistent with the various methods being used in their orthodontia plan. We had a great experience at Haeger Orthodontics. Staff is super friendly, attentive and always accommodating to our schedule. My daughter had to get an expander and braces on her top teeth, treatment was about 9 months. We are very happy with the results and Dr. Haegers work. Appointments were usually quick with short wait time when we arrived. Dr. Haeger is super gentle and made us feel very comfortable at each appointment. The Maple Valley location was super convenient and close to us, but we have also visited the Kent location when we have needed to be seen on short notice. Highly recommend using Dr. Haeger for your orthodontic needs.

We recommend Dr Haeger to everyone!! Dr Haeger was very personable and kind. He explained his treatment plan and answered all of my questions (not having braces myself, there were many!). He called to check on my daugher the evening she had her hardware put in and was very responsive when i had questions outside of appointments.

We love Dr. Haeger. I saw several orthodontists in the area for consultations before choosing him for my daughters treatment. He and his staff are knowledgeable, professional, and very friendly. My daughter feels completely at ease during her visits and I appreciate Dr. Haeger's attentiveness. Follow-up calls he makes personally to answer questions and check-up on my daughter show that he cares about his patients! Prices seemed to be competitive with other orthos in the area as well.

I enjoyed my experience with Haeger Orthodontics. I know that getting braces (Invisalign specifically) as an adult can be a bit awkward, but the staff here made it painless. They were always friendly and answered all of my questions. I have several friends that went to Haeger Orthodontics as teenagers and it is why I originally chose this facility. I am happy to say the recommendations lived up to the expectations I had. I am taking my daughter here to get her braces done as well.

Both me and my oldest have had braces done in the last 5 years with Dr. Haeger and I couldn't be more pleased! My youngest goes in annually for observation but he might not need them and they actually told me instead of needlessly charging me thousands of dollars. We love the Maple Valley location because it's so easy to get to off of Hwy 18. The waiting room is large with tables, comfy chairs, and a kids' area. The tables came in handy when my daughter would have a longer appointment and I was able to get work done. The staff is always very welcoming and I've never felt like I asked a stupid question. They even have ice cream in the summer and cookies the rest of the year! Yum!!

We have been so pleased with Dr. Haeger and his staff throughout the orthodontic experience for both of our daughters (one is complete and the other is just finishing up). Of course the outcome is amazing, but it's the process that separates orthodontists. Dr. Haeger is always looking for the best techniques to ensure success. Additionally, the staff has always been friendly and makes the experience more enjoyable.
