Dr. Richard Reza Hadavand earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the prestigious Baylor College of Dentistry Texas A&M University. Thereafter, he earned his orthodontic degree at the prestigious Saint Louis University to prepare him for private practice in orthodontics in McKinney, Texas. He is also board certified, which is a higher distinction amongst orthodontists. Additionally, Dr. Hadavand has been honored to be voted Best Orthodontist in McKinney 2014, 2015 and 2017by readers of McKinney online magazine and by his peers in D Magazine for several years in a row.
Dr. Hadavand stays abreast of the latest advances in dentistry and orthodontics by attending continuing education to ensure patients have the most current choices to make an informed decision. He also holds memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwest Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and the Texas Dental Association.
Originally from Richmond, VA, Dr. Hadavand moved to Texas in high school, attending LD Bell in Hurst. He has been practicing orthodontics in McKinney since 2006. When hes not in the office, Dr. Hadavand enjoys running, working out, and living a healthy lifestyle. Hes also been known to dabble a little in the cooking arena with trying out new dishes and recipes. What brings Dr. Hadavand the most joy is spending quality time with friends and family, and lots of smiling!
