I love to learn and consider myself to be a lifelong learner. That is critical, I think, in any profession, but especially in orthodontics. Ongoing research continually results in new methodologies, materials, and technologies, which can improve the patient experience, as well as efficiency and results.
I was raised in Orem, UT, and now consider Granger my familys home. My wife Tiffani and I have five kids Dylan, Hallie, Derek, Devin, and Haven who keep us busy! As a family, we love being together and enjoy attending the kids many soccer, dance, gymnastics, and basketball practices, games, competitions, and performances.

In addition to offering clear braces, Dr. Hacken specializes in treating patients with Invisalign clear aligners. He is able to utilize the process, even when other orthodontists tell patients theyre not candidates for the aligners, with unparalleled success. I was referred to Dr. Hacken for Invisalign and just had my first consultation. I was initially very nervous since I have a lot of anxiety. My poor dental hygiene alongside my bad experience with braces as a kid deterred me from visiting the dentist for a couple of years. After telling Dr. Hacken and his staff my circumstances they were incredibly understanding and help me set a goal towards being able to start Invisalign. All of my questions were answered to a great extent with care and consideration. I am so glad I went to visit their office, I have already recommended it to other people!

I highly recommend this office if your child has any special needs and/or dental phobias. Dr. Hacken and his entire staff were beyond kind and understanding when it came to my child's care. My daughter can be quite a difficult patient in the chair but the ortho assistant, Jennifer, was an absolute SAINT! Jennifer took her time with my daughter to explain everything and was super patient and gentle with her. We never once felt rushed or uncomfortable. Dr. Hacken and his staff treated us like we were family, not just another patient chart like some offices do. I'm very impressed with their chairside manner and professionalism with both the front/back office staff. Thank you Dr. Hacken!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! My daughter actually looked forward to her appointments. The ENTIRE staff and I mean EVERYONE is so kind, and professional! My daughters teeth look AMAZING! My son now has Invisalign. My son has a few sensory issues and is VERY anxious when going but they are always so patient with him! I couldn't be happier and am genuinely going to be sad when we no longer have to come for visits anymore :( considering getting Invisalign myself :) highly recommend I wish they were our primary dentist lol

Despite the current pandemic, HO and their staff has made it a very, positive, safe, and clean environment by taking precautions like staying in your car if you're not a patient, answering a survey at the front door, taking your temperature, and washing your hands before entering the lobby. These were all things I appreciated and made me feel confident that I was in a safe and clean environment. Love being a patient at HO
