Dr. Audrey Sheu came from a medical family background, so from a young age she knew that she wanted to be involved in the healthcare field. During her Bachelor of Science studies in biology and psychology at UCLA, Dr. Sheu decided that she wanted to be a dentist to combine her desire to be in the health field and her affinity for working with her hands. Dr. Sheu completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery training at University of Maryland, Baltimore and Loma Linda School of Dentistry. Dr. Sheu practiced general dentistry for two years and in that time, Dr. Sheu found that she particularly enjoyed working with children of all ages. Wanting to ensure that she could provide the best care to her pediatric patients, Dr. Sheu returned to Loma Linda Hospital for her post-graduate specialty training in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Sheu feels it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of pediatric dentistry. Thus, she maintains memberships in many prestigious professional organizations to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques and technology. She isboard certifiedand a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Pediatric dentists with board certified status have proven their commitment to excellence requiring verification of credentials and the successful completion of a voluntary exam. To achieve this level of recognition, the dentist must continually demonstrate exceptional knowledge and expertise, as well as a commitment to continuing education. In her personal life, Dr. Sheu likes to give back to her community. She does so by volunteering with Give Kids a Smile Day and Clinic with a Heart. She has traveled to Central and South America to provide urgent dental care to the indigenous peoples of those countries. In her free time, Dr. Sheu likes to read, hike with her dog Shadow, cook, travel, and spend time with her husband Mark, and her two children Lauren and Liam.
I think one of the most important things I can do as a pediatric dentist is to give children and their parents the life long tools for ongoing dental health. I wholeheartedly believe that this can be accomplished with knowledge and positive experiences. At my practice, we spend time teaching kids and their parents how to brush, floss, eat well, and take care of their oral health. I am always so proud that my patients follow through and stay cavity free and healthy!

I have been to this dentristy office for quite some time now, roughly 6 years and I wouldnt switch to another place if I could. My two little brothers also go here to get their annual check ups and we all agree that this place is amazing. From the friendly and welcoming front staff, to the hard working technicians. This place never disappoints and we have never had any problems. Dr. Sheu is one of the best doctors hands down because she genuinely wants to help and take care of your teeth. My 4 year old Ruby has had nothing but Wonderful Experiences here. As our only child I was concerned to get her the best Dental care. Hacienda Pediatric Dentistry went above and beyond my expectations! Dr. Sheu amd her staff are all so patient, and kind and understanding Which is ao appreciated as a parent. I would definitely recommend them to any and all looking for a Dentist

My experience been not so good with this dentist or office. They do not return a call and their schedule is so strange that you have to take the appointment that the doctor decides on having for your child, no change required or accepted. Not going back to this dentist again, and I do not recommend them as they don't know how to work with children....not sure how the doctor or the staff have a dental office for children!

We love Dr. Sheu and her staff at Hacienda Pediatric Dentistry. My 9yo son just had 2 baby teeth extracted and Dr. Sheu was very gentle and explained every step to my son making him feel calm with such a scary procedure.

I Love this place my daughter(age 2) got what she needed done with no problems DR. SHEU AND THE ANESTHESIOLOGIST DR.GARY WERE AMZAING they make you feel safe at home.... they are well educated in their profession, dr sheu is all for the kids she's so patient, soft spoken ,friendly and supportive with the kids !! Even tho they don't take my insurance I'm willing to pay outta pocket to keep getting this hospitality and treatment for my daughter !! And the front desk dental assistant LIZ is just as awesome super communicative patient and friendly she has no problem talking to you and explaining things to you and you won't feel rush when you get off the phone or leave the office you'll feel relived you got the answers you needed!!! If your child needs work done and needs to be put to sleep and not sure what to do where to go(if your dentist doesn't do anesthesia) Check this place out you wont regret it and you wont feel taken Dr.Sheu does what exactly is best and needed for the child nothing more nothing less, she explains everything very well and detailed shes very communicative and makes sure you understand and the options you have!!!

Amazing Dr. and an amazing staff. It has been quite a journey for my Little Charles. Last year at age 5 my Charles had a-bit of a challenge trying to undergo the soleil laser treatment for a root canal and cavity. It was a challenge for him just to calm him and had no luck. After a year of maturity we attempted it again. Praying this time would go smoothly. Dr. Sheu understanding our situation without a doubt worked her magic and everything turned out flawless. From her expertise in communicating with little Charles who is 6 yrs old now she explained everything step by step to him as she performed the laser on his teeth. I felt my sons comfort and ease as she took the time to comfort and explain everything which as a parent I couldn't ask for anything more comforting but to see him relaxed in the chair. Dr. Sheu is not only an amazing Dr. but her hands work which such fluidity. Flawless and caring with great compassion and passion for her work. I highly recommend her!!!

My daughter was here for an extraction two weeks ago, and was calmly explained how the procedure would be as well as rescheduling when there was an issue with the machine . She's also been a patient since she was 2 years old! Great staff as well!

My six year old daughter has been seeing Dr. Sheu at Hacienda Pediatrics since her very first dental visit. Dr. Sheu and her staff are extremely well versed in making a child feel excited about visiting a dentist. My kids constantly ask me when their next dentist visit is going to be. They have state of the art equipment, tablets/screens playing cartoons for the kids while they are being worked on to alleviate their anxiety, to a prize/token system that rewards the kids for brushing their teeth and committing to good hygiene. Today was when Dr. Sheu did her magic. My daughter's first adult teeth began to protrude out behind her two baby teeth. Although her two baby teeth were very loose she refused to wiggle them due to fear of pain. I brought my daughter in to see Dr. Sheu and due to the trust and bond my daughter had built with Dr. Sheu, my daughter agreed to have Dr. Sheu extract the two loose teeth. Dr. Sheu was very patient with me and my six year old. She provide a detail explanation of the process and made the experience pain free for my daughter. Now my daughter has two teeth for the tooth fairy. If you are searching for a great pediatric dentist Dr. Sheu is the dentist to visit.
