Dr. Haar is a native of Ventura; he graduated through the local school system before attending UCSB, where he received his Bachelors degree in Physiology and Cell Biology. He earned his Doctorate of Dentistry from the University of Southern Illinois. Dr. Haar completed his orthodontic specialty training at UCLA in 1992 and is a fellow of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is also an active member of local and national, dental and orthodontic societies.
Briana was born and raised in Ventura County. Briana has been working in the dental field for over 17 years. She began her career working for a large dental insurance company where she specialized in customer service and worked directly with the providers. Then she transitioned into the dental office where she specialized as the Insurance and Financial Coordinator. After all of this time, she still maintains her passion of helping patients love their smile. When shes not a work, Briana loves spending time with her husband, two boys and her Basset hounds!
Julie Lockwood Graves, grew up in Camarillo CA, the daughter of an Orthodontist. Julie became a Registered Dental Assistant RDA 31 years ago and has worked in the specialized field of Orthodontics for 40 years. Julie was trained by her father, a prominent Orthodontist who practiced in Camarillo.Julie has been working with Dr. Haar for 20 years now and believes they make a wonderful team helping our patients achieve that smile of a lifetime. Together Lori and Julie make a great team . Work is always more enjoyable when you get to spend the day with your friends.
What Julie loves most about her job is seeing the transformations that occur in a person while creating that perfect smile, which sometimes can take years, that is why establishing a trusting relationship is so important to her, no tears only smiles.
Julie has lived in Oak View for 30 years, married to her husband Ron and two beautiful children Lindsey 31, and Lauren 29. Their family was very involved in 4-H for years, raising livestock, horses and scrapbooking. Julie strives to live a healthy lifestyle and illuminate how hygiene is a fundamental part of it to our patients!
Emily was born and raised in Ventura County. She has been working front office in the dental field for a few years now. Emily started her career working for a general dentist. From there, she made the move to Orthodontics working for our office. While Emily is new to Ortho, her favorite aspect of the job hasnt change; getting to interact with patients! Outside of work, Emily is a full time student and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. We are very lucky and proud to have Emily on our team.
