Dr. H. Zack Smith has practiced orthodontics in Fayetteville since 1977 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, which is the oldest examining board in dentistry. It is his goal to provide each patient with the orthodontic care he or she deserves, so it leads to the smile the person has always wanted.
In school, Dr. Smith was accepted into the Omicron Kappa UpsilonNational Dental Honor Society and earned considerable recognition, including the Pfeiffer Fellow Honorary Research Award, the Second District Research Award, and the UNC Dental School Award for Orofacial Development. Dr. Smith has served as a teaching assistant at the UNC School of Dentistry and been a guest lecturer at Fayetteville Technical Community College.
Dr. Smith grew up in Lumberton, and his wife, June Marie, is from Elizabethtown. They have two daughters, Wellesley and Patton. Dr. Smiths hobbies include watching football and basketball games, jogging, water skiing, and scuba diving.
He serves as an elderat Highland Presbyterian Church, is the president of the Cape Fear Area Scottish Clan Association, and is past President of the Fayetteville chapter of the Educational Foundation. Additionally, Dr. Smith is involved with the St. Andrews Society of North Carolina, Fayetteville Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Association of the US Army.

Debra is a graduate of Northern Virginia Community College with more than 15 years of experience in the dental field. She enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her family. Debra is an avid Cowboys fan, loves Harley Davidson motorcycles, and collects Coach handbags.
Deana is a graduate of Fayetteville Technical Community College and has more than 30 years of experience in dentistry. She is married with one son. Her hobbies are collecting Wizard of Oz memorabilia, and going to rodeos.

Our daughter was so nervous to get her first set of braces. Dr Smith and his assistant Carol made her feel so comfortable and when we left, she was smiling ear to ear. I would highly recommend this office to first time Orthodontist Patients. Dr Smith has over 45yrs of experience and he knows what he is doing. Thank you to all of you for a pleasant visit!

Always had wonderful experiences here. I got my permanent retainer here when I was a high school student and never had any problems. It's been over ten years and I've moved out of Fayetteville now. I recently went to a new office to reattach the glue/bond and the office here was so impressed that it lasted this long with no problems. They kept saying how good my orthodontist must have been and they were right. It really reminded me how good Dr. Zack and everyone was when I used to go here.

I'm in town for a training and of all things my wire decides to move, and not just a little I mean it's stuck in my cheek kinda move! All I needed was for someone to shift the wire. After 3 days and calling multiple places just to see if they could help me and getting turn down, I called here. Super sweet staff and nice office area... it took her less than 5 minutes to help me, the drive to was longer than the whole time I spent in their office. I'm so grateful. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!

Never even received a call back. I've been looking like a mad woman for an orthodontist that can fix my glue in retainer. Being that retainers need repaired as quickly as possible so teeth do not move, this was an urgent concern. No one answered the phone, I left a voicemail and never received a call back. No one really has time for that on their lunch break to not receive a call back honestly.
