I enjoy the varied experiences I have in practicing the art and science of dentistry. My patients put their trust in me and my team, and that is something I do not take for granted. I enjoy helping people feel confident and comfortable with their smile and that is what Ive been doing very happily for the past 17 years.

My passion for staying up-to-date in dental technology means my patients can expect and receive the highest quality and most advanced care in my office. Each year, I spend between 25 and 30 hours attending courses and seminars on a wide variety of dental subjects. I also attend the Hinman Dental Conference annually.

I am originally from Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, and now live in the Stone Mountain area with my wife, Julie, and our lovely daughter, Jordan. I spend most of my free time with my family but when I have the chance, I enjoy playing golf, water sports, woodworking, and home improvement. I recently renovated our kitchen including the plumbing, electrical, floors, and cabinetry.

The best part of being a dentist is changing a persons life by improving his or her smile. It is very rewarding to be a part of that change and know that my patients will ultimately live longer, healthier lives. Over the past 20 years, Ive learned a lot from my patients, from their family and interests to their school or work. Most importantly, Ive learned the importance of truly listening to their needs and concerns.

Gwinnett Family Dental Care - General dentist in Lawrenceville, GA

I enjoy the daily challenge of taking what I have learned through school and continuing education over the years and applying it to my patients individual needs. I complete 25 to 30 hours of continuing education a year in various dental topics. This helps me stay knowledgeable of the newest techniques and products available, in turn helping my patients receive the best possible care.

I grew up in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, and moved to Georgia in 2009 with my wife, Diana. I enjoy playing golf, undertaking house projects, and reading. I am also a huge sports fan and can always be found cheering on my Pittsburgh sports teams.

I have been coming here for years. Back in July I had a cracked tooth. My coverage was verified (so I was told) and I was advised of my out of pocket expense in writing. I pay half of the bill and then the balance when my crown arrived. It's Oct and I receive a bill....WTH! I go back and forth with a young lady that answered the phone. My insurance company advised me that there is NO record of anyone calling to confirm coverage in July however someone did call in August and was told I was not covered. This practice dropped the ball. All calls made to verify coverage to insurance companies are logged and documented.

I had the worst experience with even trying to get seen by this dentist. I made an appointment months ago. I get called the day before the appointment to get a clearance letter from my surgeon because I had wrist surgery and somehow needed this. Mind you I have a full time job and getting on the phone with anybody and asking for a letter with a day turn around is very inconvenient. Then I get a call 20 minutes before my actual appointment to get my social security number because they can't find my insurance. 20 MINUTES BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT, I was walking out of the door already. If you have time to waste and rush at the last minute due to the bad management of front office then select this place as a dentist. I canceled my appointment to avoid any expected issues in the future. Do better

After multiple back and forth discussions about a higher than usual priced mouth guard, I decided to give this practice another chance. Even though they are very slow on responding (hence the 4 stars), today they took upon themselves to charge me in network (Cigna) price for the mouth guard piece. I was never dissatisfied by the work ethic of the hygienists or the dentist, which had worked on some teeth problems I had, so nothing bad to say there. All in all, I am confident that this practice is doing the best they can to make things right.

First time coming here already the vibe was amazing from the staff and also the doctor were professional and friendly and made me feel welcomed!! they took there time but also the appointment was very quick and easy, I have absolutely no complaints. I had to bring in my 3 year old daughter because she was out of school for fall break and the staff took the time to play with her and attend to her and occupy her for me while I was getting a cleaning she loved it and so did I will definitely make this my primary dental care. Thank You so much !!!

Denisa called me back right at my scheduled appointment time, and she was friendly, gentle and thorough. She was also efficient; I was in and out in less than an hour, including x-rays and talking with the dentist. This was a positive experience. I recommend Gwinnett Family Dental.

I never do reviews but felt this was ethically wrong and it might help someone else. I wouldn't trust this place, I did and now I've wasted my time and money. A new dentist which wasn't very experienced was assigned to me and cemented my veneer incorrectly and it showed by it coming off in two days. At the end of my appointment the dentist told me that they had a warranty, that if it came off they'd glue it back on for free. So, I come back in to have their mistake fixed and properly cemented on and the owner(my dentist at this time) declined to have it glued back on. I don't recommend this place. Waste of time and money for a dentist that doesn't really care about their customers or their teeth just your money. Do yourself a favor and find another dentist.

After 3 years still suffering from the dental implant from these people. Food gets caught under the implant causing daily pain and several infections. And its gonna fail!! Meaning that it is going to need to be removed.Thats what my new good dentist told me. Be warned, They also told me that l needed another implant and l had a crown put on a year after they told me they couldnt save that tooth! Save yourself the grief they put me thru

I started going back to Gwinnett Family dental after almost 3 years. But after having help from treatment director Binish and hygienist Kim I will definitely be a reoccurring patient again. Binish was very personal and caring. And Kim was very patient, gently and all around the best hygienist. The attentiveness from when I came to when I left Binish made me feel as if I was the only patient there. Thank you both again!

Denisa is an awesome hygienist and she did an extra ordinary job cleaning my teeth. She made me very comfortable and was very gentle the whole time. Will recommend her to any one who is in need. The staff in GFDC is very very friendly and it will help to get an appointment at your convenience too.

My visit today 8/18/22 was perfect. Denisa was my hygienist. She was sooo general and very informative. She took her time in answering all of my questions. I am very well pleased with my visit today. Dr Jensen is the best. Sincerely, Debra L. Broils

Unacceptable. I would give this practice 0 (zero) stars if I could. I know that a business must make money, but this is unacceptable. I went on the 6th of August for a regular cleaning. I want to emphasize the fact that I am a customer of Gwinnett Dental for at least 16 years, me and my wife went to this business when they were operating across from Walmart on Lawrenceville Hwy, before any of our kids were born. But no more. After the cleaning I was offered a mouth guard solution as I clench my teeth at night. I thought that the price was steep, but at the moment I didn't realize that they were quoting me an out of network price. I went home and immediately realized why the price was so steep and I called the practice back to stop the order. They are no longer in network with Cigna, for which I didn't receive any email from them, thing confirmed by the lady at front desk. The lady that I talked to, assured me that they will stop the order as the practice will be in network with Cigna after Aug 15th. and the Claim specialist will call me back on Monday to confirm. Nobody called back. I called back Tuesday and Wednesday, same message, claim specialist is busy, I will be called back. On Wednesday I was informed that they will be with Cigna after September 15th. Today Cigna sent me a message that my claim was processed. I called back the practice, the claim specialist on a very cold and a little bit irritated tone, informed me that there is nothing they can do and an email in bulk was sent letting me know that they are no longer with Cigna since 2021. I wish them well, but they lost me as a patient. What really upset me the most was that after all my calls nothing was done and the Claim specialist was worried that I still have some difference to pay. Beware of the practices that will put money before patients! 16 years I've been with them, 16.

First and last time going here. I just moved to area and my dentist moved an hour away. I had an infection but the dentist said I needed a root canal. They did an x-rays and he said there 50/50 change my tooth was crack. So root canal was his recommendation. I told no ill get a second opinion. I told I just need some amoxicillin. One week later no pain and root canal. I know insurance pays more for root canal so this place seems shady. I take an hour drive to my dentist for 100% diagnosis

Cory assisted me and he was great! Very knowledgeable, stern, professional, helpful, and caring, you would have thought that he was one of the doctors himself. Dr Gallagher is not much because even thou I need root canal in fact I told him that I feel pain after a week I scheduled to do a root canal on other clinic,so he is not good Doc for me on my opinion , and catered to my needs. Awesome team and staff!
