Hi! My name is Gwendolyn Kines-McLeod. I was born in Kaufman County in 1971 to Jerry and Margaret Kines, and have been a life long resident of Terrell. I graduated valedictorian of Terrell High School in 1989. I then worked full time to put myself through college, attending Trinity Valley Community College for two years before transferring to Texas A&M Commerce. There I received my B.S. in biology and then graduated with a Masters degree in biology in 2001. I received a full four year tuition scholarship to Baylor College of Dentistry, where I graduated third in my class and was inducted into the dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon.

I graduated with my Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) in May of 2005, and opened the doors to my practice on July 7, with my sister-in-law, Amber Kines, working as my assistant. I love being a dentist, and I think it shows. In the last eight years, the practice has grown tremendously, and I now have 10 employees in my work family, including my mom. I never want to stop learning, so I have joined the Academy of General Dentistry and am working on a fellowship. I encourage all of my staff to continue learning also. We strive to stay current with technology and are always adding new services to our practice. In the last year, we have added Fastbraces, Clear Correct, soft tissue laser therapy, and we now also offer implants and All-on-Four dentures. I am a member of the ADA, TDA, North Texas Dental Society, the Better Business Bureau, and Terrell Kiwanis.

Helping others and giving back to my community is something I learned from watching my parents as I grew up, and is something I love doing. And fortunately for me, the members of my staff have a true heart for service, because I could never accomplish the things I do without their help! We have opened our Love Revival Clinic one Saturday a month for about 6 years now and have provided dental extractions to over 1000 indigent patients. I am also a big animal lover, and am a member of the nonprofit group Supporters of the Terrell Animal Adoption Center. We work to improve the lives of the animals in our local shelter and to get them ready for their new homes.

In December of 2008, I met the love of my life, Tim McLeod, and we were married in May of 2010. We love to travel and our goal is to make it to all 50 states within 10 years. We've made it to 13 so far. When we are home, we love spending time with our family and friends and our four-legged babies. I love to cook and Tim lives to entertain, so you never know when a spontaneous party will erupt at our house!

I was born in Dallas County in 1971, grew up in Mesquite, Texas. I ammarried to Dr. Kines-McLeod's brother Randall Kines; we have 3 childrentogether. Family is important to us therefore, we have several family membersthat work here. I am thankful I get to spend my day with my sister in law, sheis an amazing women!

I have been with Dr. Kines-McLeod D.D.S. since our doors opened in 2005,and what a blessing it has been for me and my family. I absolutely lovebeing in the dental field and I believe that dentistry is one of the greatestprofessions that one can be a part of. I am beyond thankful that I have theprivilege to be the Practice Manager of this dental office, which includes atalented group of caring, compassionate, loving individuals; who ALL strive tomake our patients as comfortable as we possible can.

Along with being the Practice Manager I'm a Registered Dental Assistant andhold certificates in Pit and Fissure Sealants, Coronal Polishing and Nitrous-Oxide monitoring. I am currently working towards my CDD (certified dentaldesign); through continued education and learning I am able to grow as aclinician and provide quality and current dental treatment.

I look forward to helping our patients and others. I volunteer my time once amonth at our Love Revival Extraction Clinic and once a year with Give Kids aSmile; it feels good to be in a field where I can give back to our community.

I was born, raised, and graduated from Terrell, Tx. On July 13, 2009 I was blessed with the opportunity of a rewarding career with Dr. Gwendolyn D. Kines-McLeod. Im married and have two beautiful children. I believe you will go far in life as long as you are honest, have faith, and work hard.

I was born in Terrell and have lived here pretty much my entire life. I graduated in the top 10% of Terrell High School class of 1993. From there I attended TVCC and Eastfield College to acquire my basics and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honors society.

I love people and have always had an interest and fascination with teeth. So when Dr. Kines decided to start a non-profit organization in 2007 providing emergency extractions for people without insurance for a small fee, I volunteered. Knowing nothing, my 'help' consisted of pushing the button on the x-ray machine (which is very simple and I couldnt even do that right). After volunteering and learning more, I decided I wanted to be a hygienist. I began taking the classes needed to apply to the dental hygiene program.

In 2009, I was laid off from my job of several years and Dr. Kines offered a front desk position with her office. A few months later, I was accepted into the Tyler Junior College dental hygiene program.

In 2011, I graduated with honors from Tyler Junior College's Dental Hygiene program obtaining an Associate of Applied Science degree in dental hygiene. I began working for our office on June 20, 2011.

Most of the people that work in our office our related. I'm married to Dr. Kines' cousin and I work with several other family members. The ones that aren't related are close enough to be considered family. When we aren't working, we are usually together anyway. The atmosphere of our office is friendly and fun. We always try to make sure that our patients feel at home and comfortable and part of the family.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jerry Davidson, and our four kids: Brandon, Katelyn, Keeli and Caleb. We love the lake and spend as much time there as we can. We also enjoy spending time with our friends and family.

Growing up in a dental office with my mother as an assistant and office manager, I always knew I would follow in her footsteps. After working as an assistant and a receptionist throughout high school I decided to further my education and graduated from Tyler Junior College in 2001 to began practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Over the last six years I've made Dr. Gwendolyn Kines-McLeod's office my home and consider my patients and coworkers as an extended part of my family. A few of the things I love about my job is the opportunity to educate young children about oral health and the ability to change someone's smile. After all a smile can change someone's life. I currently live in Wills Point and will soon be married to an amazing man, Dan Hagler. We enjoy spending time with our four girls camping, traveling, hunting and watching many of the girls sporting events.

Tracy is a dental hygienist with over 30 years experience & she has been here since 2007. Over Tracy's career, she has worked with doctors specializing in oral surgery, periodontics, & cosmetic dentistry. She understands & promotes the importance of a beautiful, healthy smile.

Tracy is passionate about her work & her patients' health. Besides providing the most gentle & thorough care, she is able to build good relationships with her patients, bringing a great rapport to the dental chair & giving them confidence & comfort in the care they receive.

In addition to licensure from the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, Jamie holds an associate of applied science fromTVCC and an associate of applied science in dental Hygiene from Tyler Junior College; where she served as the president of her class. As a vital member of Dr. Kines' team, Jamie makes every effort to provide excellent patient care and education.
