Dr. Boyan Rano graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, in Philadelphia, PA. He has over 20 years of dental experience with a focus on cosmetic and overall dental health. He has been practicing in Colorado since 2006.
Dr. Rano enjoys working with families and giving personalized attention to each family member, so their individual dental needs and expectations are addressed. He is striving to help his patients feel comfortable during their dental visits and treatment. Dr. Rano believes in building trusting relationships with his patients through comprehensive, gentle, and high-quality dental care.
Dr. Paul Hamersky is a graduate of the University of Nebraska, earning a degree in Chemical Engineering, his DDS and an MS in Orthodontics all while in Lincoln. He has practiced in and around the Denver area for over 25 years and has helped thousands of patients navigate the world of orthodontistry. Paul is also an active practitioner of Invisalign.
Dr. Hamersky has been married to his wife for over 35 years and they have three grown children. He is an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan regularly attending Husker football games and he regularly enjoys playing golf.
Dr. Salman was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq. His initial dental training was at the University of Baghdad where he received a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S). Afterward, he completed a one-year general practice residency at Cairo University Hospital in Egypt.
After a couple of years practicing as a general dentist, he decided to continue his educational journey in the United States where he obtained a second dental degree (D.D.S) from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. During his time at the dental school, he was recognized for his passion and received an award for Excellence in Endodontics.
After practicing in the Denver metro area as a general dentist his passion for Endodontics lead him to pursue postgraduate training at the University of the Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA. He received a certificate of specialty in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry (M.S.D). During his residency, Dr. Salman received the postgraduate OKU clinical excellence day award for his 1st place clinical presentation.
Dr. Salman is Board Eligible with the American Board of Endodontics. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society.
Christy was born and raised in Manhattan Kansas. She and her son Marquez moved to Denver earlier this year. She graduated with her Associates in Dental Hygiene from Manhattan Area Technical College in 2014. She currently holds a Dental Hygiene license in Colorado and Kansas. In her free time, Christy enjoys volunteering for those less fortunate, painting, traveling, spending time with friends and family, but most of her interests revolve around her son, Marquez. Her goal is to have patients enjoy every visit. As your hygienist, she will provide you with the best experience possible with the highest quality periodontal care and using the newest state-of-the-art equipment. Your treatment will be informed, effective, and efficient for your dental needs.
Roxana attended Concorde Career College in Aurora, CO to become a dental assistant. She is fluent in Spanish. Roxana has been a dental assistant since 2014 and she absolutely loves it. She is the mother of a six-year-old, who she loves spending time with on her days off. The experience Roxana has gained as a dental assistant has helped her to maintain her personal and her familys oral health.

Dr. Rano and Team (definitely Diamond and more) were steadfast in helping me restore my teeth! My appointment went long, but they were kind and patient with me, helping me through to completion (for today's visit). Thank you kindly, I've never had such a strangely pleasant experience with dental care and as a result will be back!!

this place is the very best. I followed Dr. Rano from Westminister and am so grateful for his kindness and saving my teeth. Christy, Ices, and Allysia make me laugh and made my visit enjoyable (no kidding). Well worth the drive. thank you. 8/02 Continue to love this place. Diamond is great at what she does and Ceaser greets with a great smile and makes sure you know of any unexpected bills before and after visit. Could not ask for more, thank you.

At my last appt they tried telling me I had 13 cavities, which was very surprising because I had never felt any pain or discomfort. At my most recent appt with a different dentist, they confirmed that in fact I had 0 cavities. If I had blindly believed GVR Dental, I would be out over $1,000. On a different note, my partner has also had multiple instances where GVR attempted to charge her more than they were supposed to, forcing her to constantly go through itemized receipts before paying. If I still lived in GVR, I would absolutely find a different dentist, even if it meant driving out of my way.

The staff is very friendly and professional- not a five star rating because every place always and should have room for improvement(s) of some kind- my personal belief. I do recommend them if you're in the neighborhood!

This was my first visit and everyone at GVR dental was very friendly! The hygienist and dentist were both professional and explained things easily. The man at the desk was extremely kind and welcoming.

Just got my crowns done, loved the experience. Im not a frequent dentist visit type of guy but these people are amazing. The dentist was super cool, professional, and got it done with minimal pain. Roxana and Vanessa are sweethearts and will treat you just right. Thanks to the whole team. Will recommend. P.s girls are cute :)

I have lived in GVR for 22 years. I recently needed to change dentists, because my dentist sold her practice and retired to be a mom, and I didn't want to go to the new practice. I researched some dentists near GVR and found GVR Dental & Orthodontics. I looked at the reviews, call them and set up an appointment. I had two broken teeth. Initially, they said it would be the middle of March, before I could be seen,. I was very clear that I was a new patient, and what I needed to be seen for, and the gentleman said, "We get cancellations all the time. I will put you on the list and text you if an appointment opens up." I very clearly said who my insurance was with, to make sure they accepted it. Everything seemed fine. I show up for the 1pm appointment and they said they don't take my insurance, but I could pay for it out of pocket. I told him that I wasn't going to pay for 2 tooth repairs out of pocket,. He also said I would have to come back at 4pm to get the x-rays and any repairs done. I had already driven 1 hour from work, to go to the appointment and he wanted me to do it again? Seriously? He then tried to blame their call center for the mistakes. Hmmm. Here's the truth GVR Dental & Orthodontics... Your patients don't care! To the patient, GVR Dental IS the call center. It is very unprofessional to blame another group, when they aren't there to speak for themselves. Besides, you chose to entrust them with your reputation. I hold GVR Dental & Orthodontics responsible for this. GVR Dental & Orthodontics FAILED in their communication, on all levels. There is no way I will go back now! My wife had asked me to set up an appointment for her, after I was done with my appointment. No way! If I were looking for a new dentist, I would skip over this practice. If they fail at the most simple and little of things such as communicating and paying attention, how can you trust them with the big things (the actual dentistry)?
