Dr. Guymon loves coming into the office every day. After 20 years in this profession, I still look forward to coming to work each day. Dr. Guymon opened his orthodontic practice in Meridian in 1997. He has served as the president of the Idaho State Orthodontic Association and president of Southwest Idaho Dental Society. He has been recognized for numerous scholastic and leadership achievements, but the one he is most proud of is being a finalist in the Treasure Valley Integrity Counts Award for the way he runs his business. Dr. Guymon is also very involved in community service and actively serves in numerous church positions.
Dr. Guymon grew up in southern California and speaks fluent Spanish. He loves the Spanish language and people. He enjoys reading and participating in almost every sport in his spare time. He enjoys active challenges to keep in shape and has completed several triathlons and bike races. His favorite thing to do is hang out with his wife and high school sweetheart, Alison, with their two boys, Adam and Grant, and their beautiful adopted daughter Grace.

Each month, Dr. Guymon selects one or two candidates that will receive a GO 20/20 Scholarship*. The gift of an awesome smile will surely increase the recipients confidence and you know what that can do for children and their future.
To qualify, a candidate must be between 11 and 17 years of age and come from a family situation that would not otherwise be able to afford correction. They must be willing to have their treatment documented on social media to share the positive energy Dr. Guymon hopes this program brings. Candidates will be selected from the applicants you nominate!
You may not be aware that while there is government assistance for struggling families in need of basic dental care, the opportunity for braces is almost non-existent. You know the value of a smile, and the GO Smiles Scholarship provides a way for you to be part of sharing that value with those with the greatest need. We were referred to Guymon Ortho from our Dentist. Hands down this experience was the Best! Both our Daughters had a Great experience and Love their new Smiles. My son's gums were growing over his lingual bar. Of course he didn't tell us how bad it was until Saturday morning. I texted Dr Guymon and he met us on the weekend. That was wholly unexpected and so amazing! What a supremely kind man he is! I couldn't be more appreciative.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm so sad I won't be seeing Dr Guymon every 6 weeks anymore! I had a fantastic adult braces experience and would recommend Dr Guymon to anyone who asks. He's fun and professional and down to earth. Dr Guymon always made me feel confident in my braces smile and continually reassured me that braces in your 30's was cool! I'm so thankful for this wonderful office and all the ortho techs and office ladies. They all go above and beyond!

Today was my last day as a patient at Guymon Orthodontics in Meridian Idaho. Saying goodbye to my hygienist didn't even cross my mind til I was packing up to leave with my new retainers. Sarah is amazing not to mention gentle. She's funny, caring, pleasant and absolutely beautiful. She was extremely professional and so encouraging along the way. It just wouldn't have been the same experience without her. I love that young lady!! Dr Guymon is more that an Orthodontist...he's an artist. He completely redesigned my smile. To start this process with wire and brackets at 58 years old was not easy for me. The team at Guymon Orthodontics are ROCKSTARS!!! I give them !!! Thank you for the BEST possible outcome. It was so worth every uncomfortable moment. I love my new smile
