Our goal is to provide our patients with outstanding dental care, in a friendly and caring environment. It is our belief, through proper preventative care and regular, professional, dental checkups; it is highly likely that most of our patients can expect to keep all of their teeth, for all of their lives.
Our office was built in the footprint of New London's first cold storage facility, which later became a plumbing and heating business. We preserved some of the original beams and totally rebuilt it in 2008. Please click on an image below for a larger image.
Dr. Gutgsell earned his Doctor of Dental Science degree at the University of Illinois, Chicago, in 1985, followed by his general practice residency at Loyola University-Foster McGaw Medical Center. In 2006, he completed all levels of Orognathic Bioesthetics.
Besides his general dental practice, he is a member of both the New Hampshire Dental Society and the American Dental Association, has been a consulting staff member of the New London Hospital for 30 years, as well as serving as a board member of Northeast Delta Dental for three years, the last one as Chairman.

Awesome staff. They know their stuff! I've been very pleased with all my visits. My hygienist Nan and Dr. Gutgsell have been thorough, proactive, and always friendly. I also appreciate all of the precautions they've taken during the pandemic to help everyone stay safe. Highly recommend.

These people are excellent! They really do a great job to make you feel comfortable. I may live an hour away but they are totally worth the trip. I have dental work done by them that is 13 years old!! No issues!! Keep up the great work team.. - A VERY happy and thankful customer!

They discriminate against people with disabilities who can't wear a mask! I have been 1 1/2 years since my last cleaning. I have gum disease and now a broken crown that needs to be repaired, who knows what other damage has been done without proper dental care! I have been coming her nearly 20 years. They actually asked what my disability was, even though I'm not required to tell them I did and they told me NO! They said they'll call me when masks aren't required. It is now going on 2 years w/out a single phone call. This is absurd when you think about it. They had you sit in your car, call & let them know you're there, come out and walk you into the building & through the empty waiting room to take your mask off and work inside your mouth...
