Dr. Ben grew up in Perry, New York, a small village in Western New York where relatives still reside. He attended St. Bonaventure University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. From there he enrolled in The State University of New York at Buffalo receiving his Masters degree in Biology and later his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. After his formal education, Ben served two years in the US Navy as a dentist. Continuing education includes The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, Key Biscayne, FL; The Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry; also extensive courses in complex restorative, complex esthetic, endodontic and implant dentistry to name a few. Dr Ben came to Canandaigua and started in this very office in 1973.

Dr. Greg grew up here in Canandaigua and graduated from Canandaigua Academy in 1989. After graduating, he spent one year in Belgium as an exchange student in the Rotary Youth Exchange Program. After his year in Belgium, Greg began school at the University of Rochester where he majored in Political Science and Premedical Studies. After three years at the University of Rochester he was admitted early into the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1998 and then spent one year at Genesee Hospital as a resident in the general practice residency program. In 1999 he joined his fathers practice here in Canandaigua and he has been here ever since. Dr. Greg Gullo has had over 100 hours of advanced training in sleep apnea at The Pankey Institute, as well as 90+ hours in the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) Mastery Program. Dr. Greg is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM)

Dr. Navjot was born and raised in Punjab, India. After finishing her BDS degree in India she moved to the United States where she obtained her DDS degree from New York University in 2014. After successfully completing licensing exams (NERB and NDEB) she is fully licensed to practice in the U.S. and Canada. To further her clinical training and gain valuable experience she completed her GPR from Rochester General Hospital in 2015. Dr. Navjot's training includes hospital dentistry, handling infections and special needs patients. She finds passion in serving those with special needs. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She loves working with children, as well as adults. She is committed to providing high quality individualized care and developing lasting trustful relationships with her patients and families.

Lynn is a graduate of Monroe Community College with over 13 years of dental experience. She is also certified to administer local anesthesia to ensure patient comfort if needed. In her spare time, Lynn enjoys baking, working in her garden, refurbishing old furniture and going to concerts.

Jen completed the dental hygiene program at Monroe Community College and is licensed in anesthesia and nitrous oxide. She is also CPR and AED certified. Her calm and gentle demeanor brings a nice, soothing effect for her patients and co-workers. Jen enjoys reading and being outdoors with her family.

Laura joined our office in September 2019 with 30 years of dental hygiene experience. She is a registered Sleep Technician with 12 years of Sleep experience and two years as an EEG Technician. Laura loves helping people and making them feel comfortable. She loves to laugh! In her spare time, she works at the Sleep Center, gardens, swims and spends time with her family and friends.

Jessica is a recent graduate of Monroe Community College, with full knowledge of the current trends in dentistry. She keeps busy at home with her first baby, a miniature poodle, Moose, and now her husband and new baby boy! She loves spending time with her family and friends boating and hiking!

Josie joined Gullo Dental in October 2018 and has 45 years of experience as a dental assistant in Buffalo, Rochester and Geneva. She enjoys flower gardening, playing with her kittens, Black Jack and Keno, watching the Yankees and Bills and boating on Seneca Lake.

Kathy comes to us with 14 years of Dental experience and five years of Sleep Apnea experience. Her positive attitude and fun demeanor have been a nice addition to the office! Along with assisting the doctors, Kathy works with the Sleep Apnea patients. She loves hiking, kayaking, horseback riding and spending time with her husband, Rob, son, Brandon, future daughter-in-law, Halie and her three rescued pit bulls!

Kim has worked in the dental field since 1977. She joined our team as a dental assistant in 1990 and has since worn many hats in the office. You may find her at her primary position at the Front Desk or assisting one of the doctors. Kim brings a touch of levity to the office as she has quite a sense of humor and enjoys making people laugh. Kim is married with three children. She and her husband Perry enjoy vintage cars and football. Kim also enjoys working in her flower garden and always has a remodeling project underway at home. The Adams also enjoy vacationing with friends.

Sandy is the Office Manager and comes to us with a business and sales background. She graduated from Olivet Nazarene University near Chicago, IL and has lived in Illinois, Missouri, Indiana and North Carolina, but loves Canandaigua the most even with the long winters! To her, it really is the chosen spot. She is very active in her church, Mosaic Fellowship, where her husband is the founder and pastor. She enjoys visiting her extended family back in Indiana and spending time with her husband, Joe and son, Jed Best Car Salesman in the Finger Lakes, by the way!

Jill has shared her contagious laugh with the Gullo Dental practice for over 24 years. Always ready with a smile and encouraging word, she makes you feel comfortable even while having a root canal. Along with assisting the doctors, Jill works at the front desk. She enjoys spending time at the lake and traveling to the Thousand Islands.

Johanna comes with a myriad of experience and skills and adds her own style to the administrative team. She also works at the Salvation Army as aSocial Services Case Worker. She enjoys time on Canandaigua Lake, decorating and spending time with her family and friends. She has three beautiful and talented children and just happens to be Dr. Gregs wife!

Supply a Smile is a local organization associated with Canandaigua Churches in Action (CCIA), serving uninsured residents of Ontario County with free dental services for adults age 18 and older, and is limited to cleanings, fillings, and extractions. Services are provided by area dentaloffices.

At Gullo Dental, we strive to make the highest quality of dental care available to everyone. We will work with your insurance company by submitting and filing necessary forms. We want you to recieve the maximum benefit possible. If you are without insurance and are unsure of how youll pay for dental services, come see us anyway. We provide flexible payment plans through Care Credit, which is a private company, that enables you to spread payments out for months and in most cases without interest.

With digital radiography clear, detailed images appear instantly on our monitors. This technology allows us to quickly diagnose, treat and minimize exposure to radiation. Having your x-rays in a digital form also facilitates seamless communication with dental specialists.

Dr. Ben and Greg Gullo are among the few general dentists in the western New York using operating microscopes. We believe that if you can see it better, you can treat it better. Operating microscopes enable us to view difficult-to-see regions in great detail. Which allows us to perform delicate and complex procedures with confidence and precision.
