Gulfside Dental is a private practice specializing in restorative and general dentistry. This means that most procedures can be completed by one of our dentists in Naples, Florida at the office without your having to go elsewhere to see a specialist. Our dental team is made up of Dr. Christopher McCash, DMD, and Dr. Patricia Botero, DMD, having over 30 years of experience enjoy helping patients just like you keep their teeth and gums healthy.
What makes us special is our unique focus on patient comfort and satisfaction. Both of our dentists take continuing education courses on their own time to ensure that they are providing you with the most current and safest treatment methods available. Our exam rooms are all equipped with state-of-the-art technology so visits are both quick and pleasant. Formerly known as The Denture and Dental Center, Gulfside Dental has been serving Collier County since 1982. Dr. Christopher McCash has been a resident of the Naples area for 50 years. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology & a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry. Dr. McCash has been a dentist for 30 years. He practices all phases of dentistry, from crowns, bridges, implants & laser dentistry to extractions, removable dentures & partials. He is committed to his patients comfort & complete satisfaction with their dental experience at Gulfside Dental and hopes to remain a preferred Naples dentist for years to come.
Dr. Botero graduated from the University of Florida School of Dentistry in 2010. She has an undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Central Florida. After graduating dental school, Dr. Botero attended a General Practice residency at St. Josephs Regional Medical Center to further expand her knowledge in all aspects of dentistry. She ended up at Gulfside Dental by a happy coincidence. When she came to the interview set up by a third party, she ran into Dr. McCash. He had been one of the doctors who volunteered his time & resources in the Dominican Republic during a dental service trip that Dr. Botero had been a part of as a student.Dr. Botero strives to make patients feel comfortable when they come in Gulfside Dental for treatment; she listens to their wants & diagnoses needs to develop the best treatment to fit each individual patient. In her free time she enjoys multiple outdoor activities, enjoys cooking & also crafts with fabric & yarn. She also enjoys learning new languages and meeting different types of people while traveling around the world.
Dr. Reyes graduated from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine in 2013. She attended Florida International University of Miami, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. While completing her education, Dr. Reyes spent time providing dental care at various outreach programs and helped treat may patients with disabilities and special needs.Dr. Reyes is fluent in both Spanish and English. Her ultimate goal is to take time to know each patient individually, placing emphasis on oral health disease and prevention while providing treatment using the highest standards.Dr. Reyes enjoys traveling and also plays the piano and reads on her spare time. She loves to spend time with her family, who live in Miami.
Julie greets all of our patients with a warm & welcoming smile. Julie started in dentistry in 1998. She has been in Dentistry & our office at Gulfside Dental for over 16 years. She enjoys living a healthy lifestyle.
Elena has been in the dental field for over 20 years. Elena has been in Naples about 8 years. She wears several different hats here at the office, including helping patients get their needed dental work done and community outreach programs. She enjoys spending time outside on the weekends and practicing yoga.
Laura got into dentistry in 2018 starting as a dental hygiene assistant. She enjoyed the administrative aspect of dentistry more and moved to the front desk. She enjoys the Florida sunshine and spending time at the beach.
Gloria is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been in the dental field for 34 years & has been at Gulfside Dental for 16 years. She became a hygienist 12 years ago. Her enthusiasm & support for your oral health is evident in the care she provides on your visit with our dentists.
Patty is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is very meticulous with her job and enjoys educating patients on how to help maintain a healthy mouth. She started in dentistry in 1995 in Colombia. She moved here 19 years ago. She enjoys walking, biking and spending time at the beach. She also enjoys spending time with her family- her husband, two daughters and two dogs.
Magda is our lead dental assistant. She helps keep the office in order & the supplies in stock. She is a Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant & has a Dental Radiography License. Magda has been in the dental field for 25 years & has been in our office for 14 years
Maria is another one of our cheerful dental assistants. She has both her Expanded Functions & her Dental Radiography certification. Maria has been in the dental field for 30 years & has been at our office for the past 14 years. She is always trying to help everyone & feed everyone with her delicious meals.
Ceci is our sterilization tech. She helps keep the office in order by making sure our instruments are clean & ready for use when we need them. She has been in the dental field for the past 12 years here in our office. She is always jumping in to help out & keeps the office sparkling clean.
Gigi started at Gulfside Dental in 2017. She has two daughters and is from Cuba. She has been in the United States for 16 years. She has been a dental assistant for the past 14 years. She enjoys learning something new everyday in dentistry and also interacting with patients. She enjoys going to the beach, exercising and spending time with her family.
Yani is a certified dental assistant. She has been in the dental field for 8 years. She is currently trying to pursue a degree as a dental hygienist. She enjoys spending time with her family and spends her other free time studying. She is always smiling, energetic and happy to lend a hand.
Kendall is our Denture specialist. He has been in the dental field since 2006 & has been in this office for 10 years. Kendall works in the laboratory portion of our office, making and repairing the dentures for all of our patients. Kendall puts a lot of time and attention to detail when he crafts a denture or partial for a patient.

I have been going to this dentist for YEARS now. I think it's absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional to CANCEL my appointment saying I never called to confirm..Especially when I replied back to their text message with a "C" to confirm. Some of us work during the day and can't answer a phone call to confirm ASWELL as a text message. Never got a call to say they canceled my appointment either so I ended up driving 40 minutes to the office at 7am only to find out they canceled my appointment.

I do not like writing negative reviews... however the unprofessional treatment that I received during my last visit at Gulfside Dental warrants such review. For reference, I have been a patient at Gulfside Dental for over fifteen years, since before our beloved Dr. Ettinger retired. I have always had a very good rapport with the employees which is why the rudeness from the office staff is so appalling. I scheduled this specific appointment in advance and did not get ANY work done after sitting in the dental chair for close to an hour and being told when I scheduled the appointment that there was allotted time for my work. When I communicated my disappointment to Laura, as I was checking out, I was appalled at the way I was spoken to as she blatantly made false accusations. I asked for the office manager, Elena. Laura told me Elena was out to lunch so I decided to wait in the lobby. After almost two hours of waiting, Julie (front office staff) came to me and said that Elena, their office manager had been feeling ill and would not be coming back to the office. I left, and while I was in my car, Lord and behold, Elena came back! I went back in to the office and asked to speak to Elena again. When I was finally escorted to Elena's office, I communicated my concerns and Elena's response began with, "Well I know it sounds like I'm defending my front office staff..." and then proceeded to defend their actions.. A front office staff can make or break a business and my family and I will gladly take our business elsewhere.

After three years of excellent service, my relationship was terminated by the office manager based inaccurate feedback from the staff. First, they claimed I was on my phone and would not get off, thus delaying treatment. A false claim as I provided my cell phone records to the office which showed no incoming or outgoing calls from the time I entered their office to the time I left. The office staff claimed I was disrespectful and combative. Upon receiving my chart and notes from them so I could move on to another dentist, I found that they had written in my chart the I stated " I hate this" !!!. Well who goes to the dentist and loves it? During the fitting of a crown, the assistant assigned to me could not make it work. She took two x-rays without covering me with a shield. When I requested she place a shield over my body, but she was annoyed. After 4 X-rays I refused any more. I have many crowns in my mouth and never had the dentist take X-rays in order to put it in place. She also spent a lot of time grinding the cap to make it fit. It was apparent to me that the crown was not manufactured properly. I further refused x-rays or a exam on my next visit for a routine cleaning. I wanted to take break from more intrusion into my already very sore mouth. My choice to have X-rays or not. What I find most disturbing about this issues, is that I asked to speak with the owner Mr. McCash to discuss his office staff behavior. The office manger refused that request. Well, in the end, this termination was the best thing that could happen to me. I found a new local dentist and have had three visits with them. I explained why I changed dentist. I explained the pain I experience when having my teeth cleaned and having other work done. The dentist and her assistant took extra care to prep my mouth for not only my first cleaning, but major work the next day. No pain experienced after two plus hours in the chair. Now I love going to the dentist because they actually care about their patient.

I had a recent appointment at Gulfside for a couple fillings and a cleaning with Dr. Botero and Denise. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, fitting me into their schedule at the last minute, and made me feel at home in their office. They explained everything to me clearly and gave me great information on how to best take care of my teeth to avoid any issues in the future. The entire visit went smoothly and I left with a big, clean smile on my face. Highly recommend Gulfside for your dental care needs!

As a first time visitor to Gulfside Dental, a stall member delivered new patient paperwork to my vehicle and collected my picture ID and Cigna insurance care. I started this dental insurance earlier this year and asked Cigna if Gulfside Dental was covered on this Cigna plan. I was told it was covered. As I live in The Isles of Collier Preserve and this office is less than a half mile from my home it was my first choice for dental service. The staff member had my insurance information and I anticipate no problem. However, there was a problem. After this routine check up, x-rays, and cleaning I was presented a bill for $200 and was explained I was "out of network" and not covered! The problem is the staff knew I was out of network and did not so advise before service was rendered. I feel this process was unprofessional and unethical and will NOT visit Gulfside Dental again!

I am so happy that I have found this dental office and my beautiful dentist Dr Reyes. Dr Reyes did a lot of work on my teeth recently and today when I looked in my mirror I was so happy with how my smile looks now! I want to thank everyone from the office staff, to Maria and any assistant that worked with me. Your kindness and concern about everything from billing to how I was feeling makes this the most caring experience at the dentist I have ever had. I am so grateful to all of you. I am so happy that I have found this dental office and my beautiful dentist Dr Reyes. I was hesitant to leave this review because I didn't even spend 5 minutes in the office. The front desk personnel can make or break a dr office. In this case, the dr should really have a staff meeting and re-evaluate their office policies. I was in an empty office and the receptionist (older, short blond hair) told me to put on a mask which I did not have. I questioned why putting on a mask was necessary- empty office, she's in a mask behind a plexiglass. I choose not to wear a mask unless there is someone NEAR me who needs me to wear one for their protection. I also have a hard time breathing when I have one on which I explained to her. She asked me if I would like to fill out the paperwork in my car. I asked why...she said because I didn't have my mask on all the way over my nose (I did put one one that she gave me). I asked her what will happen when 5 minutes from now I will be without a mask with my mouth wide open. She said that is the CDC guideline. Exactly...a guideline. Maybe if she was a nicer person with a different approach, i would've felt different. But this woman should not be the face of the office. I did not agree with their ridiculous policy and chose to leave. A dentist who runs his/her business with a logical and common sense approach is who will get my business.

Their office is very professional from the office receptionist to manager to dentists. They have treated myself and my son and recommended specialists as needed. Very experienced, thorough, accomodating, and pleasant to work with.

I had a broken front tooth Dr Mccash pulled it and added a tooth to my upper plate I hardly had any pain from the extraction and was very happy with the price I will never go to another dentist as long as I live in Naples
