Dr. Emily Longwith grew up in southwestern Missouri in the small town of Seymour. She attended the University of Missouri where she majored in biological engineering. After college, she continued her education at the University of MissouriKansas City where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) and at Indiana University where she received her Master of Science in dentistry (M.S.D.) degree and certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Longwith loves to create beautiful smiles, and shes excited to be joining the Gulf Shore Orthodontics team.

I am a teenager who moved from Illinois after getting braces put on up there. I struggled to find a dentist my mom spoke to over 15 of them who before even looking at my teeth told me everything had to be redone. This is the first orthodontist who bothered to do an examination which was thorough before deciding on a course of action for my teeth. They explained everything to me and my mom and got me set back on the right path to have the results I want. It was a great experience.

I started my braces journey four months ago and so far it's been challenging as an adult patient. I don't think I would be able to continue if it wasn't for the excellent support from all of the staff. Everyone has been so kind and incredibly helpful. I love all the ladies in the front they always make me feel like I'm family when I walk in. Dr. Longwith is so nice and gentle. If you are considering braces I would highly recommend Gulfshore. The price point is fair and the service is excellent. I appreciate everyone here from the bottom of my heart. Update: I am over a year into my braces journey. I am seeing huge improvements in my teeth and jaw structure. My upper palate has been successfully expanded and my smile is much bigger now . I love my new orthodontist and all the staff at the clinic are like family to me.

Lindsey from the front is extremely sweet! Dr. Olavarria made my visit very comfortable! He took the time to answer any questions I had! Very happy with the services that I had today! Highly recommend to anymore planning to get your teeth done here!

Had got referred here for my son and when I say the staff is amazing they are just that very tentative and make sure you know what is going on and understand everything before leaving I love how Lindsey at the front desk was very informal on everything I needed to know about treatment and plan cost. I would definitely recommend this orthodontics and the doctor took her time and explained as well 5 stars all the way keep up the good work!! Martha Davis

I have been going here for a little over a year, and I absolutely love it! Everyone is extremely nice, they have a very welcoming environment! My teeth have never looked so good! 10/10 highly recommend!

I don't know what kind of personal problems someone goes through on daily basis but keep the bad energy outside the job. ANNA one of the employees at this location was literally yelling at another employee demanding her to go to the back while my friend was at the lobby.. so unprofessional!! poor girl she must really need her job to tolerate that kind of disrespect and she must of felt so helpless now that the so called "manager" was there and not said one word... now don't ask why I'm the one writing this review..my friend is really trying to win the giveaway lol but no seriously horrible experience no one should be treated this way.

My daughter has been a patient here since November 2020. The staff is always friendly, the office is always neat and clean, and they get her in and out quickly. I would and have recommended Gulf Shore Orthodontics to people. Keep up the amazing work.

My family and I absolutely love Gulf Shore they are friendly and always exciting to see their smiling faces. My braces come off in a couple weeks and my smile looks fantastic! My youngest baby is starting treatment here now. Gulf shore comes highly recommended! You won't be disappointed.

I am SO glad that our family dentist recommended us to Gulf Shore Orthodontics! The staff is a dream team! I wish all of my doctors offices had staff like these ladies! Dr. Longwith is so sweet and knowledgeable and I really felt like I understood my options for a treatment plan. Best yet, I felt absolutely NO pressure to decide on a plan unless I was completely comfortable with it. My daughter is excited about their fun incentive program! I'm just so happy that we are in such great hands for our Phase 1 treatment!
