Caesar Sweidan, DDS, is one of the skilled periodontal experts on the team at Gulf Coast Periodontics & Implants in Gulfport, Mississippi. Dr. Sweidan began his educational career at the Bishops School of Amman, graduating as valedictorian. During his years in school, he received an annual Academic Excellence scholarship, numerous awards, was involved in community service, and was a class representative for many years.
After graduating from high school, Dr. Sweidan received four academic scholarships to complete his dental school education. He maintained an excellent academic record and graduated within the top three of his class with honors. He went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the University of Jordan Hospital. Dr. Sweidan then completed two years of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Connecticut Health Center, where he was elected Chief Resident in his second year.
He then enrolled at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, where he completed his three years of specialty training as a periodontist. Seeking exceptionalism, Dr. Sweidan underwent further testing and became board certified by the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Sweidan is proud to have completed three residencies after receiving his dental degree. This experience adds up to 6 years of postgraduate education, enabling him to provide quality dental care to his patients. He believes that continuing education is of utmost importance for any clinician. He has published on an innovative surgical technique in the Clinical Advances in Periodontology Journal, the clinical publication of the American Association of Periodontists.
Dr. Sweidan is an active member of the local chapter of the American Dental Association. He served as the president of the Northlake Dental Association in 2015, was named the Best New Dentist by the Louisiana Dental Association in 2016, and has been on the Top Dentist list since 2012.
Dr. Sweidan is married to Dr. Britney Beard from Baton Rouge. They have four children Summer, Ellen, Michael, and Grace. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, and outdoor activities.

I have been going here a few years now. These are some very professional people. They always make you feel comfortable. I once came in one day to have my appointment changed to an earlier date and they gladly accommodated me without question. I always go to Ms. Rhonda. She is the best. Thank you guys for making things so comfortable when I visit.

Incredible place! Staff is friendly and down to earth. Beautiful building. Dr. Sweidan was very knowledgeable and did not push me to get an optional gum graft surgery. Really left it up to me but gave me his professional opinion. I went ahead and got it so I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore. The procedure was so quick and looked incredible compared to the 2 grafts I had gotten in the past. Wow. Highly recommend to anyone who needs work in the area! Thank you doc!

I had a wonderful experience for my first appointment. I was worried that I was hopeless but Dr. Maryam insured me I wasn't. She and the staff were very friendly and I feel confident that I will have the best care possible!
