I never thought I would actually be saying this, but my children love going to the dentist! The staff is so amazing, and since there weren't many people there, my four year old was so excited when she was invited to accompany her little sister to the back and talk her through it. Everyone in the office is so nice and Dr. McCabe is the perfect dentist to bring little ones to!

This place is nothing short of amazing! I took my daughter in for her first dental exam and cleaning and I had no idea what to expect. I am nothing but amazed by the staff here. Hailey (I hope I'm spelling that right) was our tech today and she made the whole experience so comfortable for my little girl. She was kind, gentle, and very understanding of how a 2 year old might be at the dentist for the first time. Dr. McCabe was absolutely wonderful as well! She took her time and made sure my daughter was okay with every step of her exam. I 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a non-traumatic experience!

I loved this office before they moved. I took both my kids to see the dentist after having an appointment with Megan for monthes only to be see a new dentist working with them. Okay I didnt like that but we can go with the flow. After everything was done and over we go to leave and I ask the office ladys what do I owe and was told nothing. Thinking it was a cleaning I left with the assumption that insurance would pay it. Couple weeks later I get a bill in the mail. So now I have to drive back to their office to pay. When I got there I asked that I be told what I owed to I could pay it that day. I was told we don't do that we wait until after the insurance pays then bill paitents. I said I live 30 to 45 minutes away so can't just pop back into the office to pay. Then was told oh it no problem WE CAN TAKE YOUR CARD INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE. No if Megan ever dissolves from the practice I would be happy to go back but this office is horrible.

Warning, long review!! (This review is for you, office staff!) I was not even able to make it to the actual appointment to be able to review the hygienist team due to my child and I being in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID. This is 100% understandable, I mean, I was honest on the questionnaire, I would never want to jeopardize the health and lives of others... now what's NOT understandable, is I did not find out that the appointment would not be able to be completed until I was outside of the office at the appointment time. Very inconvenient. I had to pull my child out of daycare during nap time, leave work, just to be told that they would not honor the appointment. I am dissatisfied and disappointed because they had advance (5+ day) notice of our possible exposure, and not one time did they send a friendly "text" or courtesy phone call indicating the "guidelines" they are following. Speaking of text messages; they send plenty, and they mention something along the lines of "[name], welcome to Gulf Coast Pediatric Dentistry! Your appointment is scheduled for [date] at [time]. A legal guardian must be present for all new patient appointments. To limit exposure and maintain a healthy environment our waiting room is only open to scheduled patients and one parent/legal guardian. Thank you." Now this is a separate incident I am referring to so I don't want to lose you here.. but the overall message is poor communication and lack of accountability. Keep that in mind.. I am very much capable of reading and understanding what the automated text messages say. The staff members; however, at two different times, VERBALLY said: 1. It was okay for someone else to bring the child as long as they have documentation and 2. "Our office would not let someone who is not the child's guardian legally sign consents for the child to have dental care... the parent or legal guardian needs to be at the first appointment to sign the consents then whoever else can bring them to future appointments" OK COOL I am disturbed by how aggressive one in particular staff member (didn't catch her name) harped on the "text messages" and "policy" but not one time apologized for any inconveniences the office may have caused, including when their own staff member said it was okay for someone else to bring a child to the first appointment. So after the first incident I showed up to my child's appointment to sign consent and head back to work.. right? Well guess what?... SURPRISE! "The parent or legal guardian has to stay for the entire first appointment" I'm over them I tell ya, making rules up as we go now eh? Where's that in the "text messages"? This incident is minor.. we are not established patients here BUT the ethics behind the lack of accountability about the situation is what bothers me. Obviously they feel they can do NO wrong because "it's in the text messages! " NEXT CLINIC!! Because we will not be returning. (I must say, I believe it was Tiffany who I spoke with that was the much nicer staff member. She deserves a Starbucks gift card.) But throwing "text messages" in parents' faces when there are actual humans in the office that can very much so, provide more informative, precise, straight to the point information in a timely manner, isn't cool!! - signed, in & out

My daughter loved them, it was her first experience at a dentist. She didn't cry nor was she scared. The staff made her, and myself, comfortable.

Very first visit for my toddler. Was greeted by multiple staff. Had to wait a little longer then expected but everyone apologized. Wonderful staff that made my child feel comfortable.

I was really new to tooth issues, so when my 3 and a half year old had an absessed tooth, I was freaking out. They got me in the same day, explained everything to me, and even stayed late on surgery day to add her to the schedule, so we weren't stuck dealing with this for the next few weeks. The anesthesia group they use were AMAZING as well. I didn't leave with any questions, we got home an hour ago from several things done to her teeth, and she's running around like nothing happened. Dr. McCabe is the sweetest lady I've ever met! I'm so glad I went to her. I am bringing all 3 of my kids there now. I also pay out of pocket, and their prices are very manageable!
