To become an orthodontist, I attended the University of Florida for my undergraduate degree before going on to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry. Afterward, I attained my Certificate in Orthodontics from Louisiana State University.

I am always going to continuing education courses so I am better able to bring our patients the latest orthodontic techniques. My team and I take pride in providing a state-of-the-art practice that offers the full spectrum of orthodontic care.

As a part of my continuing education, I am a past president of the Lee County Dental Society and a current member of the West Coast Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Orthodontists.

We have been blessed with really great patients. During 17 years in practice, we have had the pleasure to treat great kids and parents who have become part of our practice family. Every day in orthodontics is fun! I have the opportunity to create smiles not only for patients but for the people who surround them. What could possibly be better than that?

I grew up in Fort Myers and went away for 12 years to attain my education from schools across the country. Afterward, I came home to start a practice. My husband is Eric, a cellist in the Naples Philharmonic. We have nine-year-old twin girls who keep us pretty busy. We also have a Corgie named Dappy, two turtles named Moonlight and Starlight and a hamster named Domino. There is always plenty of activity in our house!

When Im not in the office, Im usually doing activities with my family. We enjoy traveling and doing different sports like skiing and white water rafting. I scuba dive and am a licensed private pilot. I earned my private pilots license even before my drivers license!

I am continually motivated by the gradual, yet profound transformation in each patients oral function, facial esthetics, and self-image. I strive to treat my patients like I would my own family and appreciate the responsibility that comes along with it. Creating beautiful smiles will never get old I love my patients and I love my job!

We have some of the kindest patients around and I sincerely enjoy the time spent with them and their families along the journey to a healthy, confident smile! The relationships that I develop with our patients daily are what inspires me to continue the legacy that Gulf Coast Orthodontics has provided our community the last 25 years!

Dr. Rosalie (Rose) Brao, DDS, MS grew up in Orlando, Florida and made southwest Florida her home in 2020. She received her bachelors degree from the University of Florida (UF), double majoring in Chemistry and Zoology, and minoring in Health Sciences. She then moved west to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco, graduating with honors. Throughout dental school, Dr. Rose held several local and national leadership roles that focused on providing access to higher education to Bay Area students from all walks of life. She also enjoyed volunteering at the soup kitchen and dental clinics to support her local community. She received numerous awards and recognitions for her leadership, community, and academic achievements, including the Delta Dental Scholarship award for Scholastic Ability and Dedication to Dentistry, the Milton and Mary Gabbs Award for Highest Moral, Ethical and Professional Achievement, and the International College of Dentists Leadership Award. Dr. Rose graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental honor society and selected as the Pierre Fauchard Academy Fellow.

Im originally from Avon Lake, OH. I have a grown son and two dogs, Angel and Millie. Im a big advocate of Paws of Lee County (P.A.W.S.). I foster dogs and volunteer, so if you are looking for a dog, come see me! I also enjoy paddle boarding, swimming, and riding horses.

I am a certified dental assistant and I have been in the Orthodontic field for more than 15 years. I joined the Gulf Coast Orthodontics team after moving from New York and I serve as the Treatment Coordinator. I really enjoy getting to know our patients and their families. My favorite thing about working in orthodontics is watching each patients transformation and the confidence that comes along with it!

I come from a large family of 6 girls so Im very family oriented. My husband and I have been married for over a decade and our daughter attends Riverdale High School. Im a huge animal loverI have three dogs! I love spending my free time watching sporting eventsGO YANKEES!!!

I was born and raised in Naples, Florida. I was introduced to dentistry from my brother and sister-in-law, both dentists. I became a certified dental assistant and have been in Orthodontics ever since! I have always been fascinated watching the confidence that develops in each patient as they progress through orthodontic treatment. At GCO, I work primarily as a Treatment Coordinator but you will find me filling in anywhere I am needed.

I am marrying the love of my life in January and together we rescued two Pitties, Harper and Koa. We both have a small, close-knit family and when I am not at the office, you can find me spending time with them. I also love to play tennis, cheer on my fianc and watch football (Go Gators and Go Cowboys)!

I have been with Gulf Coast Orthodontics for over 15 years! I help Dr. Laboda and Dr. Rose with patient treatment. I also coordinate all aspects of the lab, including taking digital scans, 3D printing, model fabrication, and appliance fabrication. I am always patient and kind to our patients, explaining the details of treatment to make the patient feel relaxed and reassured. I feel its a privilege to help change the way a person feels about the way they smile.

I was born in Texas and raised mostly in Florida, New Jersey, Illinois, & Michigan. My parents did a lot of traveling as I was growing up, eventually settling in Florida. I have a daughter and a grandson. My hobbies are traveling, camping, and fishing.

I moved to Florida with my husband 5 years ago. We have lived in Wisconsin, Washington, Arkansas, Michigan and California before finally settling in Estero, Florida. We have a wild & sweet Samoyed named Koda. I enjoy traveling, playing pickle-ball, and relaxing by the pool. Youll only find me at the office part-time because I also love spending time with my stepchildren and grandchildren and am a caretaker for my aging parents.

I have been a Certified Orthodontic assistant for 27 years! I started my career with Dr. Laboda many moons ago and rejoined Gulf Coast Orthodontics years later. I take great pride inmy active role of creating beautiful, confident smiles with Dr. Laboda and Dr. Rose its truly amazing to see the transformation for each patient!Kim

Outside of the office I love spending time with my husband of 30 years and our family. We have 3 wonderful adult children and 1 beautiful grandson whom I love watching on my days off! We also have two Australian Shepards, Snickers and Cookie. I enjoy camping, ATV riding, and gardening.

I was born and raised in Germany. After my husband finished his military career, we moved to Florida, where my husband grew up. We have lived in Virginia, Italy, Georgia, and Alaska. In our free time we enjoy gardening, cooking up new meals, and traveling with our 2 sons.

I have been with Gulf Coast Orthodontics since October 2020. I was introduced to dentistry at a young age my father was a dentist! After high school, I obtained my AA in technical science for dental laboratory technician and I later went on to become a certified dental assistant. I stumbled into orthodontics by accident, but I am so happy I did! I enjoy being directly involved with each patient experience, the close relationships I get to form with our patients, and helping Dr. Laboda and Dr. Rose with cresting beautiful smiles for each of our patients!

I joined the Gulf Coast Orthodontics team with orthodontic experience since 2014. I take pride in knowing that I have helped people achieve confidence in their smile. I love building relationships with our patients and their families, and my goal is to make every patient comfortable and happy to be there.
