Originally from Latrobe, PA, I moved to Guilford, CT, in 1991 shortly after completing my dental residency. I live in Guilford with my wife Cathy and our four children, Katie, Stephen, Jack, and Will. When I'm not busy at the practice helping patients improve their smiles, I'm usually at home enjoying the happy smiles of my family! If I'm not at home, you can often find me out on the water boating and fishing, or in the winter time I enjoy skiing and ice hockey! You might see me running the clock at a Guilford High School hockey game.
I graduated from Niagara University in Lewiston, NY, with a Bachelor of Science degree. After graduating I attended the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, where I graduated with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree. I completed a general practice residency from 1987 to 1988 and have been practicing dentistry here in Guilford since 1991.
Continuing education is an important part of what I do as a dentist. With continuing education I am able to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in my field, in order to provide our patients with a variety of treatment options.
I love helping others achieve their goals of a brighter, healthier smile. As the saying goes, If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. This certainly holds true for me. I enjoy the opportunity to meet so many unique people, and the friendships that I've built with my patients and their families mean a lot to me. It's my goal as your dentist to make you smile!
In order to become a dentist, I attended West Virginia University where I graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1995. In 1998, I completed a three-year dental residency with the United States Air Force. I was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service upon completion of my residency.
Continuing education is an important part of what I do as a dentist. I constantly update my knowledge and training in order to provide the greatest care possible for my patients. We invest a lot of time and money into the latest technology to bring our patients the best possible care available on the shoreline.
A native of Pittsburgh, PA, I moved to Madison, CT, in 1999. I have two beautiful daughters, Courtney and Madison, and an adorable French bulldog named Buddy. When I'm away from the practice you can usually find me at home spending time with my wonderful family. I also enjoy fishing, boating, all types of music, and woodworking. As a volunteer wrestling coach at Daniel Hand High School in Madison, I enjoy helping the athletes set and attain competitive goals as well as meeting and maintaining many great friendships.
