Dr. Paul Guerrino learned early in life about hard work and dedication. As a young man growing up in Yonkers, Dr. Paul Guerrino worked in the family business, which was an ice cream store located a few miles away in Mount Vernon. It was there that Dr. Paul Guerrino learned the fundamental basics of running a business and the concept of service. His father, Joseph, and uncle, Rudy Guerrino, were role models in teaching that a strong work ethic, discipline and attention to the needs of the customer were essential elements in operating a successful business.
Dr. Paul Guerrino put those lessons to good use in dental school at New York University and during graduate work in periodontal surgery and dental implants at Boston University. Naturally, his first office was established in Mount Vernon, NY, on the site of the original family business.
Paul Guerrino has used these same principles of service, dedication to people and a strong work ethic to expand the original office in Mount Vernon to include locations in Scarsdale, and Hartsdale New York. To complete the circle, Paul Guerrino's wife, Dr Afshan Ahmed, D.D.S. (New York University '03) is a partner at the Hartsdale office and Dr. Guerrino's sister, Dr. Lora Guerrino, D.M.D. (University of South Carolina '90) is an associate dentist in the Mt. Vernon office.
Paul J. Guerrino, Dentist-Implantologist, (New York University) has over 30 years of professional experience. He has extensive post graduate training in Periodontics and Implantology at Boston University and New York University, respectively. He is active in national and international professional organizations including the American College of Oral Implantology and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Paul Guerrino is a member of the prestigious New York University Implant Study Club and a member of the American Dental Association.New York University (Undergraduate),Boston University (Post Graduate Periodontics & Implants).
Paul Guerrino enjoys good food (restaurant), travel, exercise and staying young and fit. He loves to entertain, play golf, listen to music and play drums (rock & roll and the blues). He also enjoys theatre, dinner parties and design-dress/fashion.
Dr. Afshan Ahmed is a 2003 graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, she completed a one year General Practice residency at the Brooklyn VA Hospital in 2004. During this year of training, Dr. Ahmed gained proficiency in all phases of general dentistry utilizing the latest materials and equipment at the time. She also developed skills to treat patients with varying degrees of medical history. Dr. Ahmed mostly enjoys practicing cosmetic dentistry and full mouth rehabilitation cases that involve multiple specialists. She takes great pride in helping patients restore their smile and confidence.
Graduated from NYU School of Dentistry and Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a premier provider for Invisalign and his expertise allows him to treat many cases beyond the scope of both general dentists and orthodontists.
Graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry and received his Certificate of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Howard University Hospital. He is a board certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon with over 26 years of experience.

Please weigh your options and do more researches on other oral surgeons/dentists before visiting this office. Prices are outrageously overpriced for every single service here! Prepare to spend big here, like $700 out of pocket to extract a single tooth. I went to another oral surgeon that charged me $110 out of pocket (insurance covered the rest) and it was done beautifully. I do believe they provide great customer services and work as well, however due to their inflated prices these services can definitely be done elsewhere.

I get compliments on my teeth constantly. I owe the healthy upkeep to Guerrino Dentistry in Mt.Vernon. For over 20 yes they have helped me to take care of them. Myima has been a delicate and meticulous Hygienist, Christine always so courteous, Dian is pleasent, welcoming and such an ultimate professional, Marilyn is skilled at explaining why your dental health is better than the monet spent.

I visited two locations, Hartsdale and Mt. Vernon. The first was to put in an implant and the second to fix a crown. Both doctors was very efficient and knowledgeable. They helped me first and worried about insurance later. As far as the work done I have zero complaints. I'm planning on sticking with Guerrino going forward.

I love my new smile. Dr. Paul and his team did Invisalign treatment for me. I also got a convenient payment plan as the financial consultant is a great and accommodating person. I highly recommend Guerrino Dentistry in Mt Vernon.

I had a root canal done by Guerrino dentistry in Mt. Vernon. They cut my Gum to place a cap over the root canal. Less than a year later. I had terrible pain in that tooth. They then remove the tooth. I ended losing that tooth after paying Guerrino dentistry over $6,000. I always taught that the nerve are taken out when a root canal is done. The person who did the root canal is no longer there.

A few of my teeth had cavities. I had to get a dental filling. I went to consult Dr. Paul at Guerrino Dentistry in Mt Vernon. They did Digital X-rays and recommended Dental Fillings. I got the treatment and the sensitivity of my teeth have gone.

I got the insurance plan from Guerrino Dentistry in Mt Vernon, I went for the Preventive Plan under the insurance plan. It has helped me maintain my dental hygiene a lot.

My father's 81 years old went in for an appointment today for a cleaning. The dental hygienist started arguing with my sister and told her she will not be cleaning his mouth the condition of his mouth needs more than just to clean. The hygienist continue to argue with my sister face-to-face and told my sister that his mouth and conditions are so bad she's not doing the cleaning. This is the most unprofessional experience I've ever heard of from any dentist office. I DO NOT recommend this facility to anyone. If anyone that works for company could conduct themselves in such a unprofessional manner to a senior citizen. They also charge my father credit card $200 for a service that was not render. I had to call and spoke with Marilyn she told me this is a special and it consist of a package. I had to go through this with her for a few minutes she finally decide to refund the $200 to his card. Mind you again this is for service not rendered. No one ever apologize for their unprofessional employee.
