Dr. Ed Grubaugh is a native of the Lansing area. He grew up on a farm just north of DeWitt and attended St. Johns Public Schools. His desire to become an orthodontist was inspired by his orthodontic treatment at age 12.
In dental school, Dr. Grubaugh graduated in the top of his class and was elected into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Grubaugh continued his tour of the Big Ten Schools by attending The Ohio State University to specialize in orthodontics while receiving a Masters of Science in Oral Biology.
Dr. Grubaugh is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (Only one-third of all orthodontists are board certified). His research interests include digital orthodontic imaging and how technology can make orthodontic treatment more efficient. A leading orthodontic journal recently published some of his research. In addition to his full-time practice, Dr. Grubaugh teaches at The Ohio State Universitys Department of Orthodontics as a Clinical Assistant Professor.

Dr. Grubaugh and his staff are very nice and helpful. If I had a concern about my teeth, it was addressed as quickly as possible. They were thorough and gentle. The office has a very happy atmosphere! I highly recommend Dr. Grubaugh for your orthodontist!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our experience. My son was given the option of Invisalign. We were a bit worried about how that would work for a teenager. They expressed to him the importance of following the guidelines and taking responsibility for his care. He has done a great job and the results are amazing!
