Dr. Eduardo Eddie Perez, Jr. is originally from Brownsville, Texas. He received his Baccalaureate degree at Saint Marys University in San Antonio. He obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. Dr. Eddie practiced as a general dentist working in community dentistry for seven years where he developed a passion for San Antonios children and chose to further his education and specialize in pediatric dentistry. In 2009, he earned his Pediatric Dentistry Certification from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School.
Dr. Eddie was chosen as the Director of the Dental Mobile Clinic, headquartered at the Laredo Campus Extension of the UT Health Science Center, due to his background and knowledge of the dental underserved community. Dr. Eddie, along with his dental staff, traveled to numerous rural areas of Duval, Star, and Webb counties in Texas providing children with excellent pediatric dental service and oral health care education. Currently, Dr. Eddie serves as a clinical assistant faculty member in the Pediatric Division of the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Dr. Eddie Is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society, and the San Antonio Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
In practice for more than ten years, Dr. Eddie continues to strive to provide the utmost quality care to San Antonios youngest treasures. When Dr. Eddie is not seeing beautiful, growing smiles, he spends his time with his wife Melissa and their three beautiful children, Kendal, Jacob, and Aidan.
