Shaun, Office Manager Shaun became part of our Practice Team in 1996. As the Office Manager she is responsible for a variety of duties including the management of office personnel and patient accounts. She credits the entire teams integrity and commitment to the dental health of the children in our community for the success of the practice.
Charissa, Lead Dental Assistant Hello, my name is Charissa and I am the Practices Lead Assistant. I completed dental assistant training through the TMCC dental assisting training program. I (as many of my team members) interned at our office and knew it was where I wanted to work. I started working in our office in 2004. I love all the people I work with and I love my job. Most importantly, I enjoy seeing all of our patients grow from our practice.
Amanda, Dental Assistant Prior to joining our team, Amanda and her brother were patients of Dr. Millers for many years. Amanda and her family have always loved our dentists, office, and staff. That is why when Amanda graduated the Dental Assistant School of Northern Nevada, our office was the first place she chose to work for. Amanda has been with us since December 2011, as one of Dr. Trujillos assistants and has enjoyed every minute of it. Amanda loves working with the children and getting to know all of our patients and their families.
Jodi, Dental Assistant I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at Truckee Meadows Community College in the summer of 2012. I have worked with children for years and enjoy it so much. Working in a pediatric office is such a joy. I feel very honored to be a part of a great office and staff, with wonderful patients.
Pam, Dental Assistant Pam has over 20 years pediatric dental assisting experience and is also a graduate of TMCCs Dental Assisting Program. Dr. McGinley is especially grateful for Pams expertise in her assistance during difficult procedures. We admire her innate ability to help those in need.
Evette, Dental Assistant Hello, my name is Evette. I have lived in Reno most of my life. I have always been interested in pursuing a career in healthcare and I have always had a huge heart for kids. I knew I wanted to choose a career where I would be surrounded by kids every day. I began my education in Sports Medicine and have an endorsement in that field. I was also interested in the dental field and completed a dental assisting program. During my dental assisting program, I worked as a preschool teacher which allowed me to be around kids. Working in a pediatric dental office is the perfect match for me. I love the healthcare service and being around the children. I am continuing my dental education as I am perusing becoming a certified dental assistant.
Kaelyn, Dental Assistant Kaelyn grew up in our dental practice; she became a patient of Dr. Millers when she was two years old! She began working as a dental assistant in the practice while attending college. Kaelyn loves children. She loves interacting with them as a Dental Assistant and teaching them how to take care of their teeth so they can grow up with a beautiful, healthy smile.
After graduating from BYU with a degree in History and Theatre Production, she and her husband moved to Reno to start a family and continue his education. Kaelyn spends her time outside of the dental office teaching childrens theatre and dance and is working to develop the arts in our community. When she is not teaching children to take care of their smile or to sing and dance she is playing with her brand new baby boy.
Claudia, Dr. Trujillos Administrator Claudia has been in dentistry for most of her working career. She loves all aspects of dentistry; especially working with people, providing excellent customer service and figuring out dental insurance!
Terie, Insurance Coordinator Terie joined our team with 16 years of dental experience. She enjoys working in the dental environment because she loves the patients. As our insurance expert, she is able to assist our families with difficult insurance issues, which makes her job challenging and rewarding.
