Native to Southern California Dr. Laura attended University of California, Santa Barbara, where she received her Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences. She then went on to attend dental school at Loma Linda University. Busy in dental school she served as class president, ranked first in her class and was awarded acceptance into the prestigious, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. Additionally, Dr. Laura graduated with advanced standing, and received a certificate of merit from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
After earning her DDS, Dr. Laura continued her education at Loma Linda in an intensive pediatric dental residency program receiving a Masters of Science in Dentistry. Today she is recognized as an official Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and is a published author of a study that looks into the safety of certain sedatives commonly used in pediatric dentistry.
