Dr. Galliani received her doctorate training in Lima, Peru at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. After completing dental school, she worked in private practice in Peru for a year. In 2002 - 2003 she received postgraduate training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Upon completion of the program in Minnesota, she continued her postgraduate training with an additional year of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Maryland where she received special training in cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Galliani added a two-year pediatric dental specialty training at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2006. At Johns Hopkins Hospital, she received training in interdisciplinary care on the cleft lip and palate team. She also completed a two-year Pediatric Dental Fellowship at the University of Maryland, treating her own pediatric patients, and teaching pediatric dentistry to both undergraduate and postgraduate dental students. Dr. Galliani has been in private practice at a pediatric dental office in Southern Maryland for the last 6 years and is now practicing in Northern Virginia. Dr. Galliani has been practicing in private practice since 2008.
Dr. Nour Gowharji was born and grew up in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She earned her B.D.S from King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (2003) and continued to pursue her passion for treating children by specializing in Pediatric Dentistry from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in (2003-2006). She worked in Private practice for 5 years in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In 2012, she moved back to Boston as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry from 2012-2019. She taught predoctoral and postdoctoral students, conducted research and was the Pre-doctorate program director from 2013-2016. She also earned her D.M.D from Tufts in 2017. In 2020, She moved to Virginia with her family.
She has 17 years of practice and teaching experience. Her interests are in behavior management, children with special health care needs, growth and development and cleft lip and palate repair. She believes in providing compassionate and good quality care for every child.
Dr. Gowharji enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling to new places and learning about their cultures. She is a certified yoga instructor with special training in Trauma Informed Yoga. She has also studied Ayurveda and is a certified chef. She speaks English and Arabic.
Dr. Rosenberg graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Olaf College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. She went on to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and graduated with high distinction. She is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. She completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. She received training in caring for patients with special health care needs, trauma, hospital dentistry and interdisciplinary care on the cleft lip and palate team.
Dr. Rosenberg is thrilled to be practicing in Northern Virginia. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and reading. She values giving back and has volunteered on dental mission trips in Peru, Panama, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Rosenberg is committed to providing compassionate care for children. She strives to make visiting the dentist a fun and positive experience and in doing so, help her patients build the foundation for lifelong oral health.
Sheri is a skilled clinical manager who strives to provide energetic, fun, and loving service to each and every patient. She finds her job exciting because it gives her the opportunity to meet new people and make new relationships. She loves to inform our patients about oral health. She has enjoyed being a part of Growing Smiles since it opened in 2014.
Gabriela greets our patients and their families with warm smiles. She has worked in customer service for over 4 years and is fluent in Spanish and English. After receiving her dental assisting certificate from Everest College, Gabriela started her career in pediatric dentistry. She strives to go the extra mile to ensure each patient experience is positive. In her free time, Gabriela enjoys going on adventures with her husband and step son.

Growing Smiles of Northern Virginia is truly one of a kind! The office is beautifully maintained, and intentionally decorated to bring a sense of joy and ease to each child who walks trough the door! Each of the staff members with whom our family interacted were warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Galliani has a unique way of making each child feel comfortable, and creating a pleasant experience for each person who walks through the door. Her fun-loving personality, enthusiasm, and gentle manner made for a truly positive experience for each of our children. Overall, Dr. Galliani's vast knowledge of pediatric dental care and overall professionalism far surpass any other dentist we have worked with!

Dr. Rosenberg is such an amazing doctor. I've been looking for a good pediatric dentist in Northern Virginia for a while, I'm so happy to find her and Growing Smiles of Northern Virginia. She's not only excellent at what she does but also very caring for her patients. I feel very well taken care of every step of the way from booking the appointment, insurance, to how to take care of my child after a filling appointment. I can tell that they really care and want to achieve what is best for their patients. I trust Dr.Rosenberg and her staff to take care of my children. I would definitely recommend her and this dental office to any parents

Of all the firsts for my kid, I would never have anticipated "going to the dentist" as one of my favorites. Growing Smiles staff, including Natalie and Dr. R, really made that a reality. The experience was a highlight of my 3yo son's day and week. Maybe it had to do with the goody bag and balloon or maybe the fact he keeps asking me for birthday cake toothpaste? But the results speak for themselves, since he has gleefully brushed his teeth and flossed (!!) ever since. Highly recommend a cheerful office with quality care from expert pediatric dentists and hygienists.

We've been going to Growing Smiles ever since our girls were little. It is such a wonderful practice and we adore both Dr. Galliani and Dr. Rosenberg and all of the hygienists. If your little ones are anything like ours, going to the dentist was a little intimidating for them at first. Now the girls are excited to go because the doctors make it such an enjoyable experience. They literally ask when we are going to see Dr. G. The practice is very clean, bright and welcoming and well equipped with the latest equipment. (They even have TVs above the chairs during procedures to entertain the kiddos). We trust their expertise and highly recommend Growing Smiles to all families.

After spending an hour yesterday filling out 6 form for a preventative check up for a perfectly healthy 7-year-old, Dr Galliani and her office refused to see us today since I declined unnecessary x-rays. When I asked why didn't they call me when they say that I signed the form for " no radiography" they said they don't look at the forms ahead of time. Two hours of my valuable time wasted. Horrible practice. Stay away.

The doctors and staff are wonderful with children. It is a child-centered practice and the way they interact with kids makes my child look forward to going. From a parent perspective they are professional, communicate with you in advance and make the process easy. My daughter is 10 and has been a patient for 8 years

They would never spare a minute to calm your kids down. They strictly will say go find an another doctor, and tell you that your child is crying! I just found out my family is banned from the dentist when I just tried to get an appointment for my daughter. It was because of my 4 year old son was scared and cried during his 2nd visit for the treatment(first one was check ups). They told me to go find an another doctor because my son is not cooperating with her, and I did. But today I called to have an appointment to his sibling for the first time, they said they would not give me an appointment even for the different kid. What kind of service is that? I wish I never had a recommendation from my friend. Don't go to their office if your child has a phobia from doctor.
