Growing Smiles is not just a dental office for children and teens. We are a stepping stone to a healthy lifestyle. Growing Smiles delivers optimal health and care for infants, children, adolescents and persons with special health care needs. Our mission is to teach both parents and children an appreciation of complete dentistry: including preventative measures, treatment of dental disease and assisting craniofacial development while in a relaxing environment.
At Growing Smiles, we strive to create a positive experience for each child, and to teach them the skills to have a lifetime of optimal dental health! Our office environment is designed to be both child and eco-friendly. Forget the stuffy dental offices youre used to. The building uses the latest technology, both in dentistry and in construction methods. The office boasts digital radiographs and paperless charts. With digital radiography, there are no chemicals needed for development, and the amount of radiation that children are exposed to is drastically reduced compared to traditional dental radiographs.
Growing Smiles follows both the American Association of Pediatric Dentists and the American Dental Association guidelines that a childs initial visit to the dentist, should be by the childs first birthday. This helps to familiarize the child to the dental office, and also allows the dentist to make sure the childs dentition and facial profile is developing appropriately.
We will gladly submit all claims to your insurance company. Dental Insurance usually covers a certain portion of treatment and at Growing Smiles we pride ourselves in helping parents understand and work with their dental insurance.
Growing Smiles believes that being a great pediatric dental provider means continuing on the education journey. All the dentists are board-certified and Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. What does it mean for my childs Pediatric Dentist to be board-certified? A Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) is a pediatric dentist who, in addition to completing dental school and a residency training program, successfully completed and passed the highest level of written and oral examination, hence demonstrating specialized knowledge and skill in the field of pediatric dentistry.
