Our team is led by Dr. Gurveena Parhar, a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She graduated in the top 10% of her class from New York University College of Dentistry and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Parhar went on to complete her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2007 where she researched and published a paper on maternal child nutrition and the impacts on dental caries.
Dr. Parhar has extensive experience and is comfortable and confident working with children of all ages, personality types and medical conditions. She has practiced all areas of Pediatric Dentistry including sedation, general anesthesia, trauma, and interceptive orthodontics in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. She also enjoys teaching and was a part-time Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Columbia University, New York. While practicing on East Coast, Dr. Parhar was awarded Top Dentist awards as voted by families.
She recently moved with her three children and husband to the beautiful Pacific Northwest and is excited to share her expertise in the area of Pediatric Dentistry with her patients. Dr. Parhar takes a relaxed and gentle approach to pediatric dentistry and looks forward to making your and your childs visit to the dentist comfortable and enjoyable.

Very friendly staff, super knowledgeable Doctor, my kids love Doctor Parhar, very friendly and knowledgeable. I have moved to Sammamish but continue to visit the clinic and don't want to change it.

The overall experience was smooth, and the staff/doctors were friendly. The speed was so fast. It took slightly less than 10 min from entering the office to being done with cleaning. I might slightly prefer a lengthier semi-annual cleaning for the kid.

Been a happy (parent of) patient for 6 years, and I would absolutely give 5 stars. But during pandemic they got a new receptionist who is really passive aggressive for a few interactions (made sure she's not just having a bad day). Unfortunately the receptionist is someone you have to interact with for every visit.

We have 5 kids 8, 6, 6, 1 & 1 at Growing Smiles we are able to bring all 5 at the same time! The examinations and cleanings are detailed but not too rough! Everyone is happy to explain thing to us. Dr. Gurveena Parhar answers all our questions! She explains how we can help keep everyone's teeth strong, health and clean! We really appreciate the wonderful vibes at growing smiles, the whole staff is amazing! Ps. There is no harsh judgement. One of my older kids had a cavity, I was not blamed and judged. Instead I was kindly educated and scheduled for follow up!

Today was the first time we brought in all 5 of our children. They spoke with our children and educated them respectfully. Dr. Gurveena Parhar is educated and empathetic . The whole staff was kind and accommodating!

We have been coming to Growing Smiles for almost 7 years and I couldn't be any more pleased with them. They are all nice and gentle with kids. All 3 of my kids love them and see them as friends. Dr. Parhar is the best such a beautiful person inside and out. They work with our schedules and will see all 3 kids at the same time, which works amazing with us. Hands down the best children dentistry!

Every aspect of our experience with Dr. Parhar and her staff has been top-notch. She and her staff are incredible with our kids (age 7 and 11)...they have absolutely loved going to the dentist (we've been going there for about the last two years). Dr. Parhar is very clear, kind and considerate of our natural approach to health. I feel grateful that we have received the best dental care possible and I would not hesitate for a second to recommend them.
