'Weve been going to Grove for years and they recently opened this clinic for the kids. They have little tooth fairy things all around the office with little doors on the baseboards to look like the tooth fairy travels through the office. I love that they keep the magic alive for the young children. Dr. Gufran and the hygienist were very kind and made this experience a 10/10. Would definitely recommend.'

'If you care about your kids dental health this is the place to go Dr. Gufran was great with my son who was at first scared of the dentist but it was a very pleasant experience staff is kind and friendly very welcoming atmosphere'

'Great pediatric dentist!!! Dr. Gufran is so good and the assistant Diana was also great! she talked to my son through the entire process keeping him calm. When we were walking out he said she was really nice! Office is nice and clean also!'

Having suddenly found myself in need of emergency dental care I found myself looking at Grove Dental. Getting am appointment was very quick and easy, there was THANKFULLY the option of scheduling online as talking at that point in time was quite difficult. The staff was awesome! Nice and friendly. They did everything they could to help resolve my issue. I highly recommend Grove Dental!

The experience I've had with Grove Dental has changed my usual dislike and fear of the dentist. They are kind, patient, and show actual care towards their patients. I have a lengthy sheet when it comes to dental work and in all my experience have never felt so comfortable at a dentist office. They eliminate my fear by treating me like a person, not just another appointment to get through. They take their time to make sure the work they do is done correctly to save from future issues. Although procedures done at the dentist are never enjoyed, they make them tolerable, pleasant, and lessen the anxiety that comes along with them. I can't say enough good things about my experience at Grove Dental. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a new dental office!

I broke a tooth over the weekend. Had it extracted somewhere other than grove and that place messed it up. I contacted Grove and they scheduled me to come in with my son to look at it. Dr. Risko is the absolute best, he fixed what they messed up. Listened and helped me feel a lot better. My younger son loves the new pediatric building and getting a coin for a treat. He was in and out even with sealants put on. My older son was also in and out no issues.

I scheduled a routine cleaning and filled out their new patient paperwork- including all of my insurance information. I arrived at my appointment and got xrays and then very quickly the appointment devolved into a conversation about periodontal scraping. At no point did the tech inform me that they were never going to clean my teeth, she just started prepping for the scraping, without explaining to me that's what she was doing. The dentist then came in to do his exam, and informed me that everything looked great except some light staining and a crown that would likely need to be redone in the future. At no point did he say anything about a periodontal scraping. The tech then finally explains that she's about to do the scraping and that the total treatment would be over $1000. I asked, "what about my cleaning...I didn't schedule any of this" and she informed me that before they could even clean my teeth, they had to do the scraping. I stated I did not have the funds (as I am a student) and that I only wanted a cleaning. She reiterated that she wouldn't be allowed to clean my teeth without doing the scraping. I mentioned that the dentist himself never spoke about this scraping. In a tone that suggested I was questioning her professionalism, she said if I needed some verification she could bring the dentist back in, but that he had agreed with her in their private conversation in a back room. I asked if any of it was covered by my insurance--the front office employee then came over with a sheet to show me that the scraping was covered by insurance, but the antibiotic was not. At no point did they mention any issues with my insurance. We worked out a plan where I could split the treatments between 2021 and 2022, as if we did it that way, my insurance would cover the scrapings and I would forgo the antibiotic. I only agreed to this because the front office staff brought me two separate pieces of paper showing me what was covered by my insurance vs cost and how we could manage it within my tight student budget. I reiterated several times how I did not want any work done that was not covered by insurance. I left the office with no clean teeth and a $16 mouthwash that was also pushed upon me. I decided I felt uncomfortable with the whole situation, as I felt rushed and intensely pressured into this treatment and would look into another dentist in the area for an actual cleaning. When I went to the other dentist, it was his professional opinion that I did not actually need dental scraping and that it was not uncommon for chain dental offices to pressure clients into such treatments. He also did not agree with their evaluation of my current crown. To cap off this entire experience, I unexpectedly received a bill for nearly $400, four months after my appointment. I had been told since we split up the treatments, my insurance would cover what I had done in December. When I called to speak to someone about it, I had to leave a message. When the billing department returned my call, I spoke with two different people, and the second woman said she would escalate the issue to her supervisor who would call me back. She also asked me if I knew this appointment wasn't "in-network". I absolutely did not, as the office had told me my insurance was covering this entire procedure. At no point in ANY of my discussions with the tech or the front office staff did anyone tell me that I was out of network, and they kept assuring me this was covered by my insurance. 7 business days later, I have yet to receive a call. I did receive another bill in the mail though, with a highlighted statement that this was my final bill and no adjustments would be made. So in fact no one was ever going to call me back, they decided a conversation with me was unnecessary on their part and they could just highlight a single line and the issue would be finished. I will be posting this as many places as I can and reporting to the BBB.

10/10 recommend the Grove Dental Group. The dental hygienist Katie was super nice and knowledgeable and answered all my questions and was patient with me. Dr. Dvyia was great and kept asking if I was okay during my fillings. My teeth also look and feel better than when I got there. The fillings she did on my top front teeth today look so nice and natural and she matched the color of my teeth perfectly. Going back next week to fill a few more, I'm not worried at all. They also give you a gift for your first time there.

The staff, dental assistants and dentists are amazing. I was a prior patient of different dental office in the area and so happy I switched to Grove. My whole family goes there. They are professional, kind, courteous and very knowledgeable. I have had dental issues for as long as I can remember and they are actually giving me a schedule to get me back on track to having healthy gums and teeth. I just had a crown put in and they did a fantastic job. My daughter has an appointment soon and I am excited to see their new office just for kids. Nick, at the Penn ave location is awesome and always answers all of my questions with ease. Highly recommend this dental group! They are much more professional and knowledgeable then other dentist offices in the area!

Grove Dental follows the law only when it suits them. I was turned down for a routine cleaning today because my blood pressure was too high. Understandable. Those are the laws. But six months ago, I came in for a cleaning and my blood pressure wasn't taken. They performed the cleaning. I have had high blood pressure since my 20s (I'm in my 30s now). It runs in my family. I am 5'8", 150 lbs., healthy BMI, weight, abstain from alcohol, and exercise regularly. Other than my high blood pressure, I am perfectly healthy. I have been a customer at Grove Dental since January 2020. My diastolic reading has always been slightly over 100. 100 is their cutoff. I've been over 100 since they started seeing me as a patient. But only today did they refuse completely to do a cleaning based on that number. They didn't even take my blood pressure during my last visit. If it's, as they say, illegal to perform a routine cleaning on someone with diastolic pressure over 100, and it has been over 100 for the past 15 years, then it's strange they conveniently failed to take my reading during my last visit and still were ok performing the cleaning. And it's strange they performed the other cleanings as well. It seems Grove Dental only enforces the law when it seems fit and convenient for them. It doesn't matter if you're elderly or young; it won't matter what your underlying health conditions are. You could be perfectly healthy but have just exercised in the morning and your blood pressure may have spiked. Grove Dental will turn you down. They don't use discretion or look at patients on a case by case basis. It's just a blanket prognosis. It is NOT conducive to a family friendly dental office. As usual, it comes down to the all mighty dollar.

This was my first time at Grove. The service was exceptional and my dental hygienist Katie was personable, thorough and reassuring. As someone who does not look forward to the dentist, I could not have asked for a better experience.

I'm an older person and have been terrified of the dentist since I was 10. I am no longer anxious thanks to Grove. They are a wonderful group of compassionate, relaxed, and pleasant dental professionals who I highly recommend! Five stars for sure.

Super friendly staff! I arrived late to my appointment and since it was my first time I had to complete some forms. While I was completing them, the staff was very friendly with my almost 2 year old and spent 20 minutes playing with him while I did the forms. A very pleasant experience ! Thank You

Hello, my experience was great, and service was amazing. Both the hygienist and the dentist were insanely nice and kind throughout the time I was there, which was not long. They did a great job on my teeth, and did it in a fast, appropriate amount of time.
