We want our dental office to feel more like a second home. A place where you can go and feel like youre in the company of good friends (or better yet) a real family. Sure, were serious about all things dental care, but we also know a little bit about having fun with it. Why? Because hometown, genuine dentistry should always make you smile.
I could not imagine there being a better, more fulfilling profession for me than dentistry. There is nothing more rewarding than changing a persons smile and improving their self-image. Each patient is unique and important to me. In the 20-plus years Ive been in practice, I have bonded with the many patients and families that have come to see me for their dental healthcare.
In order to improve patient care, I am always trying to find new, innovative ideas and methods that I can incorporate into my practice. To do so, I participate in courses of continuing education that focus on all aspects of general dentistry, practice management, and Invisalign.
When it comes to transforming smiles with Invisalign, I am committed to providing my patients with nothing short of the most advanced, experienced, and beneficial treatments. I was the very first General Dentist to become an Elite provider of Invisalign in the state of Ohio, and I currently hold Gold Plus status. My accomplishments and national recognitions with Invisalign come from years of experience helping many patients achieve brilliant smiles with this treatment system. These accolades are reserved for only the most skilled and dedicated Invisalign providers, and I take my accomplishments as a testament of my dedication to my patients!

I am a native of Saint Marys, OH, and I currently live in Grove City with my husband, Rob and our sons, Tyler and Brady. In my free time, I enjoy keeping up with pop culture, I love doing karaoke, and I am a Jazzercise instructor. I am also active in our community through various events, including annual blood and food drives.
I believe in treating each patient the same way that Id treat my own family. I always take a down-to-earth approach to delivering care: taking pictures so that patients can see their own teeth and smiles, trying to explain the complexities of dental science to patients in terms they can understand, and being honest about all possible options. I want people to actually like coming to the dentist! I love the mix of art and science in dentistry, but I am most passionate about being able to help others in a meaningful way.
I enjoy learning new things and watching as the profession of dentistry evolves with new techniques and products. I participate in numerous forms of continuing education in all aspects of dentistry, including Invisalign, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, sleep apnea, and Botox therapy for TMJ and pain relief. I remain active in sports dentistry by fabricating mouthguards for local high school and youth football teams, and as a practice, we founded the Southwest Dental Hygiene Study Club two years ago.
My wife, Kelly, and I have been married for more than 20 years, and we have three amazing daughters: Claire, Molly, and Bridget. Growing up, I was the oldest of four boys, and Im still really close to all of my brothers. Kellys brother also lives next door to us with his wife and children. Obviously, our extended families are really close to us and are an important part of who we are. We also have a dog, Emmet, and two cats, Lenny and Squiggy.
Besides spending time with my family, I enjoy coaching a lot of the teams my kids play on, whether its soccer, basketball, or softball, and I still play both softball and soccer when I can. I attend more than my fair share of collegiate and professional sporting events, usually Notre Dame or Ohio State games, and my favorite baseball team is the Detroit Tigers. I enjoy traveling to new places, camping, hiking, exploring, and generally being outdoors. I love cooking with my wife but enjoy eating more; I consider myself an ice cream-eating expert. A few things that I really enjoy but dont get to do all that often: golfing, skiing, watercoloring, seeing live music, and fishing.
Ive been blessed to have been given a lot in my life and I believe strongly in trying to give back. I participate in the Dental OPTIONS program, an outreach dedicated to assisting Ohio communities with special health needs or financial barriers to obtaining needed dental care. I have volunteered in the past with the KidSMILES clinic and have helped to do screenings for the Special Olympics. I served on the board of directors for the Grove City Chamber of Commerce Foundation for many years and continue to help the Foundation select students for college scholarships. My wife and I are active in our church, St. Agatha, and weve chaired the Float Building Committee for the Upper Arlington Fourth of July Parade since 2005.
I am passionate about my patients. My practice philosophy is based on the personal relationships that I am able to build with each patient individually, and this is what makes me excited about coming to work each day. Few professions allow the opportunity to work closely with so many people and establish a deep trust with them. I have the chance to meet so many unique people, which gives me a broader outlook on life and allows me to hear some amazing stories that I would have never otherwise had the pleasure to enjoy.
Staying current on dental materials and techniques ensures that my patients receive the best care available, and I strive to incorporate these into my practice on a daily basis. I have completed a wide range of continuing education courses covering many aspects of the dental field. These include everything from anterior aesthetics and endodontic techniques to learning how to use the newest dental CAD technology.
The team I get to work with every day is phenomenal. Through their dental knowledge, ability to explain complex dental issues to patients in a way they can understand, and their caring chairside manner, each person makes the team as a whole stronger.
