I am so grateful to have the opportunity to work in a field I have a real passion for. I completed my undergrad studies in my hometown of Tucson at the University of Arizona, followed by training in dentistry and a specialization in orthodontics, which has given me the ability to provide my patients with the best quality of care.
I began my orthodontic training in July of 2003 at Saint Louis Universitys Center for Advanced Dental Education, regarded asone of the top programs in the nation. During my residency at SLU, I had the opportunity to work with some of the leading clinical orthodontists in the country. I graduated from Saint Louis University in December 2005 with a Master of Science in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and currently reside in Summerfield, North Carolina with my wife Gina and our two children, 3-year-old Zia and 8-month-old Zac. Free time is scarce with two small children, so we spend most weekends with our little ones!! Theres nothing like seeing them explore and discover new things. We know this time will go by fast so we want to enjoy every minute! We love to travel, cook, discover new restaurants in the area, and spend time outdoors. And during our very favorite time of year, otherwise known as football season, Ill be rooting for my Arizona Wildcats along with my other favorite team, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish! We love North Carolina and are so grateful we have been able to call it home for the last 4 years!
I am a native of Phoenix, AZ. and was raised in Tempe, AZ where I attended Arizona State University. I graduated ASU Summa Cum ladde with high honors and was thrilled to be accepted into University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine where I began my dental career. I was an active member of the ASDA while in dental school and participated in many outreach groups and programs. I graduated in the top of my class and continued my dental journey working as a private practitioner in Phoenix, AZ. With Orthodontics being my passion, I was excited to continue my education and began my Orthodontic residency at The University of Colorado. When I am not working, I enjoy running, hiking, doing yoga, and spending time with my family.
Im from a small town in the Florida Panhandle and grew up surrounded by the beautiful waters of the Emerald Coast. I went to college at Auburn University and the University of Louisville where I competitively cheered for their All Girl team and Team USA. After that I happily continued on to dental school in Louisville and then pursued orthodontics at the University of Colorado. I started dating my husband, Jason, in high school and we now have two daughters and a son. In our spare time we love to spend time outside hiking, playing all kinds of sports, and gardening. We are all so excited to become a part of this community and look forward to raising our family in the area!
