Being a native to the Naperville area, Dr. Yasin attended Marmion Academy and completed his undergraduate work at Benedictine University, graduating with a bachelors degree in health science. He continued his education and received his masters in biomedical arts from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, graduating in the top 5% of his class. He completed his dental training at the reputable Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Yasin is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest quality preventive care for a lifetime of good oral health. He strives to treat each patient like his family, with compassion and empathy in a personable yet professional manner. A.Y. Family Dental is where Dr. Yasin primarily practices, but he commits one day a week to Gibson City Hospital, where he takes special satisfaction knowing he is helping treat patients with very limited access to oral health care providers.
Dr. Yasin specializes in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He has vast knowledge of the dental field, allowing him to do numerous specialized procedures such as implants, Invisalign treatment, veneers, teeth whitening and crowns. He also has extensive training in correcting sleep apnea for his patients who are affected by it.
When Dr. Yasin is not practicing dentistry, he loves spending his time with his wife, Saira, and young children, Ayla and Noah. Embarking on fatherhood with two little ones close in age is one of the greatest blessings he will forever be grateful for. He hopes to travel the world and make memories with his wife and kids. Aside from spending time with his family, the foodie in him loves trying new restaurants with his wife and is always experimenting with new things to cook in the kitchen. He also has a passion for sports and movies.
Carolyn joined us here at A.Y. Family Dental in 2019. She is a 1993 graduate of Marquette University with a degree in marketing and public relations. Her goal as an office manager is to make sure both our patients and staff are happy to make everyone feel comfortable visiting our office. Her favorite part about working at the practice is the positive atmosphere and working with a great group of people who feel like her second family. She is a die-hard Bears fan, and everyone on the team knows anything Snoopy related will always put a smile on her face.
Danelle joined us in February of 2012. She is a proud graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene in May 2011. Her favorite part of this practice is how the staff and patients both feel like family.
Stephanie joined the team here at A.Y. Family Dental in April 2021. She graduated in 2001 from Prairie State College. She loves being part of a small family-owned practice where she can build relationships with her patients and get to know them and their families over the years. She also enjoys working with such an amazing group of people who all work so well together.
Stephanie is married to her husband, Ed, and together, they have four adorable rescue cats: Maui, Mooch, Mowgli and Milo. She has three nieces and one nephew, Maya, Reagan, Riley and Wes, whom she loves to spoil. Outside of the office, you can find Stephanie traveling with her family on road trips to reach her goal of visiting all 50 states before she turns 50.
Holly joined A.Y. Family Dental in September 2020 and loves helping people feel at ease in an environment that may cause anxiety. She also enjoys being a part of a practice where everyone is willing to pitch in and help.
Jody became a member of our team in July 2016 and has been in the dental field for more than two decades. She truly loves being a dental assistant to learn new techniques and advances in patient care and give patients instructions on maintaining good oral health. Her favorite part of her job is helping people reach their optimal oral health and have the most beautiful smiles possible.
Jody has been married for more than 25 years and has two daughters. She is an animal lover and has three dogs, four cats and two fish. Her family also occasionally fosters for Starfish Animal Rescue. She is an avid runner and loves to participate in local runs in the community. She also has attended Community Christian Church for 20 years and counting.
