Dr. David J. Griffin enjoys all aspects of orthodontics: the challenges and rewards, and the friendships he builds with his patients that last long after each treatment is complete. Orthodontics is a combination of art and science, and combined with Dr. Griffins close attention to detail and never-ending commitment to his patients, your treatment is meant to be a memorable experience.
Every child deserves the opportunity to have a smile they can be confident with. That is why I became an orthodontist. With the advantages of technology, we can now make it more comfortable and make treatment more efficient. It is my hope that each patient gets the best results and experience. My staff and I make it fun! We love what we do, we make smiles! Because an awesome smile matters!
I was born and raised in Milwaukee. I am a father of three daughters and have many pets! In my free time I like to spend time with my family, work in my yard and Fish. I am hoping to get in some fly fishing trip this summer. In better weather, I love to ride my motorcycle both to work and on curvy country back roads.
The long road to becoming an orthodontist started in the Elmbrook school system,then transitioned to the University of Wisconsin system. Eventually, Dr. Griffin concluded his pathway to orthodontics at theUNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY.
Dr. Griffin received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota in 1990, where he also completed his orthodontic residency and received his orthodontic certificate and Master of Sciencein 1993.
As a member of many professional organizations, Dr. Griffin is able to participate actively in continuing education in order to stay current on the ever-changing world of technology and the latest advances in orthodontics. Dr. Griffin is a member of theAMERICAN DENTAL ASSOCIATION, theWISCONSIN DENTAL ASSOCIATION, theAMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF ORTHODONTISTS, theWISCONSIN SOCIETY OF ORTHODONTISTS, and theMIDWESTERN SOCIETY OF ORTHODONTISTS. He was also appointed toOMICRON KAPPA UPSILON DENTAL HONOR SOCIETY.
Dr. Griffin is always thankful for the support he has had over the years from his family, friends, and the communities of West Allis, New Berlin, Elm Grove, Wauwatosa, Brookfield, Hales Corners, West Milwaukee, Oak Creek, Franklin, and Greenfield. I can not express how happy and satisfied I am with my experience here at Griffin Orthodontics. I have been a patient here for the past 4 years and since day one the team has always treated me very nice and they have always been very professional. I recommended a lot of my friends and family and will continue to do so. I would rate them more than 5 stars if I could! :)

I have been doing Invisalign for a few years and to day was my last day. I am so happy with the results. Dr. Griffin and his staff are simply the best. Highly recommended.

I got Invisalign through Griffin Orthodontics and I could not have asked for a better experience. The entire staff is very nice and the office is a relaxing environment.
