Using our implant placement planning software, an implant is virtually placed in the desired location. This means that we can virtually place the implant on a computer using the exact dimensions of the implant, placed in the exact location, at the exact angle, and at the exact depth. This is as exact as it can get. This information is then sent to our lab where they print a 3D surgical guide based off of our virtual rendering.
Surgical Phase: The 3D surgical guide is used to duplicate the exact virtual placement. Its not just a guide to assist with the placement; its a guide to duplicate the virtual placement. The 3D surgical guide is made to correlate with our implant placement kit. The guide makes sure each drill sequence is angle controlled and depth controlled. The result is absolute perfect placement of the dental implant.
