Dr. Matthew Vogel took over Gresham Smile Designs in January 2019 from his childhood dentist, Dr. Daniel Ries. Dr. Vogel spent many hours of his childhood in Dr. Riess office while he and his siblings finished up routine dental visits which had sparked his interest in dentistry at a young age. After he graduated dental school in 2014, he reached out to Dr. Daniel Ries to ask what his retirement plans and they kept in contact through the years until Dr. Daniel Ries was ready to retire. He hopes to continue the same amazing quality of dentistry and warm, friendly atmosphere that Dr. Ries created for over 30 years.
We are located in a professional building that contains medical specialists, dental specialists, and an optometrist. Just off Eastman Parkway and Burnside, our address is 1201 SE 223rd Ave, Suite 140 in Gresham, OR.

Doctor Vogel and team went above and beyond to help me with my needs... They came in on a Friday to do some extensive dental work ( there closed on Fridays). They walked me through every step as to what they were doing... Did a GREAT JOB!!! I highly recommended this great team!!!!! Thank You !!!!! CHER

So, we got a new dentist at the place we all went to for our entire lives and he seems to have fit right in. He is certainly more knowledgeable about things that are technologically advanced and it shows in his use of said items on any given day. It seems like the new dentist has filled the shoes of the old one rather nicely, no disrespect to the old one. Dr. Reise will always be a good man. Good job all of you! My crown currently just got a temporary guy stuck in there for me to be able to deal with the long process and is barely noticeable and I'm sure the FINAL product on the NEW one will be awesome. Thanks for everything!

Had a tooth cracked, got me in quickly, and fixed, a crown and a couple of fillings. Very kind staff, great provider who knows what they're doing. Good place if you have anxiety but need woek done. Deep cleaning is next and following an agreed plan of care.

Visited Gresham Smile Designs for a crown. It was a good visit and prices are comparable to other dentists in the area. Dr. Vogel has a gentle touch and is cognitive of my hesitancy with dental procedures. The assistants and front office staff are so sweet and friendly. The whole experience was great and would gladly reccomend them. Have been coming here since our last dentist retired and Dr. Vogel assumed his practice. He is up to date on the latest procedures and practices and everyone here works very hard to make the dental visits as pleasant as possible.

They did their best to keep me from talking but I saw that as a challenge. I fought valiantly but in the end they helped to save countless people including themselves from endless verbal vomit.
